part of it was mid-lategame time management. You always smited the camp you started on unless you got a sick leash then you'd save it for blue/red. you almost exclusively smited raptor camp for the ward detection the whole game after that initial clear, and had to save smite for casting on champions or baron/dragon/herald secures. the health and mana on blue and red were shit. you'd never just casually smite one on the run for the refill because they're always dead. gromp and krugs were useless beyond the lv 1 clear, and wolves were situational and didn't replace good warding/wardclearing.

the jungle plants still give you an option for vision, they give you a means of forcing plays, and give you a way of topping off before a gank. not having to burn smite on raptors every minute gives you more freedom to smite whatever monster you are killing or save it for champions

I'm basically trying to say that having an important must-smite buff in the jungle inhibited the use of smite for secures and kills, and getting rid of smite-dependant vision tools is a good thing, and all the other buffs were shit so you shouldn't miss them at all. You also have more freedom to start at whatever camp suits your champion the best now as there's no buff advantage for starting at one camp over another. It is more catered based on your champion's kit and playstyle rather than always starting outercamp->buff->buff->crab

gromp is for single target lovers like khazix. there's now a shitton of stronger small raptors and the big raptor isn't as strong (amumu will love this getting to spam his E like mad), krugs are fucking wierd but i'm sure some champion will enjoy starting there (maybe nocturne if it lines up with his passive heal properly)

I thought plants were dumb at first too but overall I like having smite available more and i like being allowed to start somewhere other than bottom side.

Dropping the health of a minion down to a more manageable level for the ad carry. Say two minions are taking damage at the exact same rate, you can slap one of them up so the ad carry can get them both with autos and not need to use an ability. It's especially important when the tower is involved.

The numbers are spitball values, don't be a faggot.

AD Carry has to shoot a minion twice to kill it, which they generally won't have the attack speed for when they're also juggling dying CS caused by allied minions. If you shoot (butter) the minion when the tower targets it, the carry will be able to farm a lot easier.

A support that doesn't know how to butter will cost their carry a lot of gold and a lot of time (which is equal to gold).

Bot lanes loses 0-2 each but they keep pushing up so fuck going there
Just keep on taking drags and towers when people are missing
Eventually mid and top can rotate easily and they carry us through anyway

I stand by it that if you can get every drag it doesnt matter how shit your team is, i´ve played games where our teams 15+ kills ahead and lost because our jungler cant do anything
