There's 3 projects being worked on right now, one of them being Armored Core and another being something "completely different and weird" from what they usually work on. No idea on the 3rd.

Kinda gives a lot of room for speculation, but there's no guarantee Miyazaki is even working on any of said series. I'm interested in seeing what new IP he comes up with though.

Becacause 100 feels like a natural stopping point for build's due to how stats work in order to have enough to get the most out of weapons while also having to make sacrifices and impossible to have everything.

You could do that, though you do miss out on Heavy Abyssals from 50 Strength or Cold Abyssals from 50 Arcane. With that build you're really limited to the HMS and maybe Logi Wheel with Flat Arcane gems, everything else will be severely sub-optimal. The weapon would be okay, but your Vit is suffering way too much to do FRCs or PvP. You'd be at a far greater disadvantage than the HMLS makes up for.

If you're dead set on staying at 98 (which I admire), and if you want the build to do more than just use the HMLS, I'd recommend 16/12/50, and using it as a beam launcher. Its untricked R2 will still pay dividends, although its R1s will never be very good.

Well I've used a 16/12/50 HMLS in FCs and done okay.

If the build is only going to use the HMLS, 25/25/25 might be marginally better, although I have no experience with it.

At least with 16/12/50 you'll get good use out of Tools and whatever weapons you decide to convert to elemental damage.

The difference in Phys damage from 25/25 to 25/12 is about 75, and the Arc damage from 50 to 25 is about 60.

However, if you want to use tools, convert weapons, or fire the HMLS' beams, you really need the 50 Arc, and that's what I do.

Every weapon is viable and Blade of Mercy is a pretty nice weapon for PvP. 50 Skill is all you really need for it, no need to invest in Arcane since it scales horribly with it.

Good weapon overall. Get 50 skl and ignore the arc scaling on it. In PvE you might have some challenges since they're rubbish with crowd control but the r1 spam is sex if you're 1v1ing something. Its untricked charged r2 is probably the fastest in the game and mixing l1s in afterwards give style and damage. Tricked dashr1s are the best move on it though by far, doing both thrust damage and having shitty netcoding in pvp on its side. BoM generally doesn't see as much use now as it used to because rakuyo exists which is even easier to cheese shit with.

Don't try killing Eileen for them at the start though. Progress through the game naturally and build them after Crowsteel. That 40k can be put to better use in levels and they need upgrades+skl to get the best out of them

you need the Lower Loran root chalice to acsess Lower Loran Glyphs. Right now you can acsess Ailing Loran glyphs, but that's not where the good weapons and runes are. And guess who drops the Lower root chalice: Loran Darkbeast.

Chalice's are such a dumb execution of a solid idea. There should not have been 10 preset dungeons and almost double that in different root dungeon types. There should have been Pthumuru, Hintertomb, Loran and Isz presets (plus Pthumuru Ihyll once you cleared all the others) and only 4 root Chalice's which varied in depth and difficulty based on what materials you used instead of arbitrary preset material lists.

A Ptumuru root chalice made with Ritual Blood 3, 2 Red Jellies and a Yellow Backbone should have had certain properties and restrictions on what could appear in the dungeon. A Ptumuru root with Ritual Blood 5, a Sage's Wrist, Bastard of Loran and some Arcane Haze should have had different restrictions on what was in the dungeon.

Give players some control over content while still being random and make it far less tedious to get to the good stuff.

If you want decent damage from your guns, get 25 Bloodtinge for your Skill build if you care about staying around 80-120. Military Veteran or Lone Survivor are the best classes to start with if you don't plan to have any Arcane investment. 15 Arcane for the Old Hunter Bone is pretty nice for the BoM though.

It's okay against hunters. 15 Arcane also opens up Beast Roar, Empty Phantasm Shell for non-split weapons, and the Choir Bell (it's eh but you could heal if someone throws a Numbing Mist at you, plus it's unparriable but costs 7 Bullets). OHB helps weapons that have great dash r1 attacks like the Wheel, Bloodletter, BoM, etc. Pretty fun to use.

Hmm, I get your point. It's just something inside me that screams when I want to invest 13 points to get a 75 return vs 25 points to get 60 in return. Also no second weapon, I don't want that hidden stamina regen penalty.

I am the original lumpy prospector. I am currently trying to make "The Overpreparer's Guide to Vicar Amelia" in which I do everything that's possible in the game before Vicar Amelia and show off how powerful you can become early game if you try hard enough.

For the video I wanted to level up from 10 to 49 (the highest "acceptable" level to fight Amelia) all at once, because I thought it would be funny to have the exact amount of echo's and go through the doll's initial dialogue (I havnt spoken to her on this character yet) and then level up 39 times.

Lumpy gems are the center peice of the guide since they are so powerful early on, but I can't get to them until I kill the Watcher Trio on layer 1, which is proving nearly impossible. I beat HMPH on layer 2 easily, but the numerical difference between Centeral and Lower Pthumuru is insane. Standard zombies took 2 r1's, now they take 5.
