Sequential release would be horrible because all it's going to do is lead to one server being the go-to place, get overcrowded and then people won't move to other servers because they already have shit on the first one. This is what retailfags don't seem to get. The game was a true RPG. Balance was not high on Blizzard's priority. The game was designed to be immersive and feel like an actual world. It didn't pander to any type of player and Blizzard did whatever the fuck they wanted. Because of this attitude we ended up getting a game world that didn't give a shit about you or your feelings. The game would continue on without you and it was easy to be left behind. The quests, everything was/is very unforgiving.

And WoW was considered a casual MMO back then. I could only imagine retail babbies trying to play a real MMO, let alone Vanilla.
