So I've never done a Darkmoon build in DS3 yet, can someone tell me the invasion range? I don't typically trust the wikis since they were pretty shit the last two games, and this one is bad, full of old info, and incomplete.

I was just passing through the crucifixion woods and was invaded by a twink. So I walked back to the bonfire to meet him, bowed, and flickered shield after his animation ended to let him know I was going to start. Pretty standard.

I got a lucky parry on his weapon art and riposted him for 1/3 his health (using +1 refined spear) then continued to bait him to make and close distance because that gives me range poke advantage with the spear. I'm no pvp slump. As it would be, eventually he tagged me but the problem is, instead of doing 1/3 my health or less like normal at this or most levels, he one shot me. I was a little salty because it was a good fight up until then and it could have been a satisfying fun fight had he not been twinked. He sent me a message saying "Get good kid".

Salt at all time high, I just ignored it and let myself be summoned so I could work up souls + ember because I wanted to upgrade my spear to +2 before Crystal Sage.

Got summoned by a dude, he is walking around collecting items and we're clearing baddies, he's obviously new and clueless because when he got invaded by a purple he had his shield up all the time and almost got riposted.

We put the purple down, I heal him (temple knight build, healing coop tank).

Same guy invades, and while I'm bowing he runs up and one-shots me, then kills the host.

More shitmail.

So now I want to make an anti-twink for this area.

I need the thirstiest console build I can get. I can clear the game at base SL so lay it on me.

The reason why I'm farming Aldritch covenant is because there's absolutely NO SUMMONS AT ALL. Since it's all Gank squads there's barely any room for Darkmoon summons, specially since it's tied to players that have the Way of the Blue item equipped, not random guys.
Spent the entire weeked since Friday and only got 4 summons, 2 of them was the host dying as soon as I appeared, one I got summon in the middle of Mordor and got raped by pontiff knights and Fire Witches in 5 seconds and one was succesful because the invader fell from a risk in the painted world.

I only had enough HP to survive a hit or two, I stayed at range and cast magic, used magic like Homing Soulmass/the dark versions and crystal version of it so if someone got close it'd hit them and stagger them while I backed up and cast again.

Most enemies was less than 3 casts because I pumped int.

I didn't bother with melee at all most of the game, but I did get the Immolation Tinder which was pretty good. Shit moveset but useful for when you want to save magic. I hate magic in this game (sorceries) but I wanted to get the all sorceries trophy for kicks.

If they fistfight in return, I drop them upgrade mats or shit for what I guess their build is and go home when we're done.

I was a fun invader in DeS, I would clear the level for dudes, screw around with the hands of god, and typically got fun PSN messages.
