The Panthers aren't shit but with perhaps the the exception of the A they aren't great either.

For me the Panthers were my git gud tanks since I had to actually put some thought into what I was doing due to that fucking reverse speed.

If a German player grinds and spades the Panther line they should be well prepared for high tier gameplay, which probably explains the abundance of incompetent tiger players.

They're hardly more mobile than the Tiger line at times and they suffer from being a glass gun. I refrain from calling them glass cannons because while their guns have high penetration, their explosive filler isn't always enough to make up for their reload rate. I've had a disabled ISU 122 repair before I could get in another effective shot to kill him before. The 6.0 Panthers suffer heavily from being uptiered constantly, with most of everything easily penning them on their upper glacis, let alone the giant weak turret.

I already decided I'm not gonna do that.

I've been thinking maybe just the Tiger 2 but then I saw 100,000RP and lost interest, I think I'll just play the long game and wait for gaijin to drastically boost RP again when their playerbase starts slipping.

As for now with RP reward already being so miserable I'm just grinding lower tiers of other nations up to a point and thats it. Not gonna devote so much time to this game anymore desu

Strat bombers are almost universally useless outside of EC (and tumors). Mediums can win games regardless of tier, especially stuff like the B25 and P61 that shit all over pillboxes. Also a squad of Ju88s can end a game faster than even Tu4s.

Your best bet is to hit ground targets in mediums. You'll get occasional kills on tailsitting shitters, but more importantly you'll pull enemy fighters down low.

It's better against lower tier tanks in RB ground, like if the duck is at the top end of your br lineup. Think of the 37mm like a shitty 50mm. It can penetrate virtually anything even through the front, at 800m, up to about BR 5.0. The downside is you only get 12 rounds. The 30mm isn't really capable of frontshots on all but the lightest of tanks at anything greater than 500m. It's much better from the side, rear, or diving above and you have 100 rounds to spray everywhere.

Unless I had a good reason that required the extra penetration I would fly with the 30mm. If the 37mm had 30ish rounds I would probably fly with it, but 12 just isn't enough.

The 37mm duck still gets a pair of 20s to dick on open-tops and SPAA.

The 75mm duck will absolutely shit on whatever you shoot with it, assuming you are good with the gun and hit vitals. You also get 13 rounds to the 37mm's 10, but you only have a pair of shitty .30s to shoot when the 75 isn't appropriate. Personally I like the 37mm better than the 75mm unless I'm uptiering the plane into ~6br games or higher, and at that point you might as well be flying the vastly superior 410s that have the 50mm.

Yeah I hope this years Halloween event with the Russian tanks defending against hordes of ever tougher German AI was a testing ground for how a PvE mode would work.

What the fuck is wrong with British tier three tanks tho. They don't have all that much armor. Their maneuverability is alright at best. They can not reverse. British at tier 2 were gods. The cromwells punch so far above their weight if you use them right to nip around enemies flanks. The Achillies was also really good for its tier. It might not have had fantastic stopping power but at the very least you could knock out whatever components you wanted to. But once I got to the firefly and up I just started getting shit on. I have the comet now with upgraded ammunition and I'm halfway to the archer and if I can get two kills in a game I'm euphoric.

the La-5, FN, and 7 are insanely good aircraft below 3km, you can out anything 109s. When I used to play this game a lot whenever I got frustrated with something I'd pull out the La-7 and ruin some poor 109's day. That thing is maybe 20% heavier than a Zero and has 100% more engine power. It's the same weight as the 109 G-6 while having 30% more power.

I just wanna point out, I too got the M46 Tiger, although it was ages ago when it was the only American Tier IV premium. Still, I grinded all the way to the M103 with just the M46. I fully agree that it's pretty much completely inferior to everything else at 6.7.

But it's still probably my favourite American tank. It's got a combination of excellent mobility, great gun depression, a good APHE shell and not totally worthless armour that all seems to fit so well together when I play it. I've got no other tank that I can so consistently get 10+ kill games in.

But holy fuck you totally should've bought any other Tier IV premium dude, what the fuck were you thinking.

This is where a bit of smart play/ awareness would easily solve the problem. If you're careful blind Nazi/Slavs will roll on by without noticing you in both of those maps.
As I said before let the brits be the distraction with their mediums/heavies

A bit of trigger discipline would also help too. Where ever there's one tank there is usually another so not opening up on the first target you see can be wise if you're still undetected.

300+ pen APDS is a fucking GREAT stock round. Know what the Bulldogs stock round is? 180 pen solid shot.

Also betting on the enemy to be blind and not kill you isn't a map tactic, it's desperation when the map doesn't allow you to do anything else than that. Plus places to hide a tank in city streets are already minimal, especially if that city is covered in snow.
