The Chinese patch is Google Translate. At least they made an effort to translate the quest text, and from what I've read so far, it isn't that bad. I've seen a few vanguards for whatever reason stay in normal stance instead of switching to defensive stance in dungeons for whatever reason. It gimps 50% threat.

Also if they dont put any points into strength and sit in telegraphs forcing you to spam heal them that will effect it as well.

No, no. You need to HoT yourself, and then vine (doesn't matter who you have targeted for this), and it automatically spreads the stacks to everyone around you. There's also an option under your keybinds that allows you to hold a specific button, and as long as it's held, your heals will target you. Makes life easier.

I been literally reading updates and watching streams for this game every day since may, decided to ignore CN to avoid burning out and finally got to try it this beta.

I'm on the verge of sending it all to hell and ignore the game entirely now. It's not the cash shop/founders, it's not the bugged quests, it's not the fucked translations, it's not the small amount of classes or the memory leak problem.... I can't pinpoint exactly what it is that's making my abort senses start tingling, but something doesn't feel right.

Anyone else feels the same? I mean out of all the mmos I've played this year, this the only one that seems to have some very decent end game progression system in both pve and pvp, but at the same time I'm not sure if it's worth it to get invested, and also having the risk of my.com fucking up everything in one day if they feel the game isn't making enough money.

I tried all the classes in that mini dungeon test thing you can do at 30, and I was like... is that it? that's everything? at least in other games I keep trying to see if I fall in love with my class once I'm max level and have all my skills, I don't know what else I was expecting. I guess I enjoy having stat builds, but there doesn't seem to be much variety besides pumping your main stat and then some leftover points dumped in defenses, would be nice if you could customize some skills like with talents or something.

This guide helped me a lot to let me know what I'm supposed to be doing to gear up and all that as a newbee.

The same guy has another guide on how to get 1-40 fast, but I have not seen it, it's probably for the CN version so it could be not 100% compatible with the NA client.

There's a huge memory leak in this version, I noticed it when I was selling items, like the first sold just fine, and the last ones started taking fucking 20+ seconds just to sell and my framerate was stupid low even with other chars turned off.

I'm wouldn't say it's universal, because I've seen streamers stream for a while without restarting, and I'm not sure if it's 100% related to selling items either.

which class/classes are you playing right now?

Part of my dissapointment was SM not being as crazy aoe loco destroyer of worlds as I was expecting. The ice spec is literally useless in pve, and the stance switching doesn't feel rewarding at all, like yeah I get a follow up on some skill if I'm in it's proper stance, stance switching instead of making me stronger feels like it makes me just a scrub shitter if I'm not toggling stances, I was hoping stances actually gave me different skills like they do for all the other classes when you do your switch thing.

If anything I felt like shaper's dolphin aoe rape and the yeti were more in line with the kind of aoe levels I was expecting, but I don't feel like being a healer cuck.

Vanguard was very satisfying regardless of the lowish damage, but I felt like even low level bosses could kite me, with 4 ranged classes in the game vs only 2 melee I know vanguard pvp won't be fun until you're over geared or something.

But it does. Stance switching in other classes just changes how existing skill function. It's exactly the same with SM, some skills are affected by stance.

Is it as trashy as Blade&Soul?
Couldnt get that game run without constant stuttering on a gtx1070,6700k i7. It also looked like ass so engine must be fucking garbage.

If you want to be a DPS Shaper while still having a good healing build for instances, just buy a build expansion ticket so you can switch between the two.

If you're trying to DPS between healing in instances, I wouldn't do that unless the instance is easy because it resets your...I don't remember what they're translated as. It resets the circles on your bar, and those circles increase your healing.

The P2W is minor, anon. Instances of Swordmages 1-shotting people are rare, and only when there's a clear level and gear difference, which will exist in any game with progression.

The gear scaling isn't that bad, and anyone who doesn't slack will be fine. New players will get bulldozed by people who have been playing from the start though, because progression is time gated. That's one of the reasons why CN now has a system in place to jump straight to level 55 after completing objectives, with rewards that shorten the time it takes to catch up.

Because it's literally the WoW of China, after WoW of course, as in AAA chink game, huge production values and what not.

I'm in mostly because of the progression, it's the same as other games, but at the same time is not, it's hard to explain, but only thing I can say is doing dailies and shit in her feel a bit more rewarding because your progress doesn't go automatically to shit, you actually need to rank up your exorcism level to get access to better gear.

This could be seen as bad for some people that don't want to go through this progression, but I'm tired of doing shit for months, and the second a new tier is released all I did until then was for nothing, and those who don't like it can go back to whatever mmo with traditional progression they come from.

Has anyone found the storyteller guild in the capital? I've been to at least two "huge" cities at this point. Found some cool shops though.
