What are some small stuff that you'd really like in TWW?

I'd like some more unique buildings for Dwarfs and greenskins, like the Great Shrine of Grungni in Karak Azul or the Horn of Karak Hirn. Unique building chains really add some flavor to the game.

Also some variation to the different subfactions, like Karak Hirn being unable to recruit gunpwoder and steam units. Or Karak Kadrin having more slayers.

So I absolute love dwarves and Total War: Warhammer is what got me into the Total War series. However, I'm having trouble against the AI whenever I fight them.

So, usually, I comprise my army of around 5-6 Ironbreakers, 5-6 thunderers, maybe 1-2 Irondrakes then go artillery the rest. My problem is how to properly set up my gun line so I don't get absolutely fucked by artillery/fast troops. I've been doing custom battles and the bar at the top should say that I should absolutely crush my opponent, however I barely manage to scrape a win out with a Pyrrhic Victory.

I want to understand how to set up my army at the beginning and how to move them about. It's annoying to have my Thunderers not shoot anything because they're obstructed. I try moving them to the side only for them to get absolutely ruined by cavalry. Any tips?

6 thunderers is an overkill, replace 3-4 of those with Quarrelers or Rangers. They shoot over your line, require less micromanagement and are generally amazing in pretty much any fight.
Give your Thunderers some space, but make sure to cover them. Just 2 of them should be easier to manage.
Irondrakes are only particularly good against orcs, yet by the time you get them, orcs shouldn't be a problem.
Get at least 4 artillery pieces of your choice. Grudgethrowers never go out of style, Organ Guns tear shit up pretty well but only at shorter ranges, Cannons and Bolt Throwers are good against big shit.
Get some Hammerers (Slayers or Longbeards with greatweapons will do in a pinch, but I never liked them) to pulverize everything that reaches your line. Seriously, they're underrated.

Depends on who you're fighting. Assuming you can tie them up before they blow someone away, Thunderers will make short work of just about any knights. You need to have units covering your flanks for that to work though.

In my latest Empire game, Norn killed skarsnik in 20 turns and never once declared war on me or my allies. They kept asking me for an alliance, but I didn't because I thought they would war with everyone after I did.

Then Chaos came and they immediately sent stacks up to help me out, even though we still weren't allies. I finally gave in and allied with them and they were the most bro AI I've ever encountered in this game, saving Norden from destruction twice.

Not for a long time. More popular factions first. The interview pre release the developers said how they wanted to include Skaven and Ogre Kingdoms in the first game but couldn't due to budget which led many to believe the Darklands and Mountains of Mourn were going to be part of the base game map. The common belief now is we'll get Welfs and Bretonnia very soon over the next 2 months.

With a Tomb Kings release along with the unlocking of the southern area in February or March followed by the first full expansion in the early Summer June-July adding HE,DE and Lizardmen to the game alongside the new continents and AI factions then Skaven will be added after that though others think it'll be welfs,brets,skaven,TK then the first expansion. CA said Skaven won't be in the first part of the trilogy so thats why I think they will be DLC post Expac 1.

This just makes me miss the internal trade system of Medieval 2 even more with the carts and ships scaling to the provinces wealth and infrastructure built. It made the world feel alive.

They added sea monsters and griffons to give the campaign map some atmosphere in Update 2 maybe they'll re add the trade system when the Araby/Land of the Dead northern ports unlock. Probably update 7 or something. I hope at least.

That sounds interesting and will explain to a lore noob like me why the Dwarfs and Elves don't get on. It'll give me some context to the Wood Elf addition later his month as from what I gather the welfs are descendants of the last colonists in the old world that refused to leave from what I understand, so I guess the Dwarfs would hold grudges against them aswell? Apparently the war started over a beard being shaved?
