Army books 8th edition are what CA are using.

Lore books are really good and are written from the perspective of someone in the Warhammer world.

There are mega and google links that have the vast majority of books on Warhammer Fantasy. Pic related is the small collection I got. I can't use the .mobi files(there were over 60 books in that format) so I skipped those.

Hobgoblins are sort of an in-between Orcs and Goblins in terms of size and look. They're also treacherous as fuck and other greenskins fucking hate them and kill them on sight. As such, they either work alone as pseudo-Mongolian wolf-riding tribes in the Dark Lands and the Great Steppes next to Cathay, or they work as upper-tier slaves for the Chaos Dwarfs.

After you've built up your capital and gotten walls and protection and/or defanged Skarsnik, go for Karak.

Depends how you want to handle the campaign. Dwarfs have a fair shot at eight peaks fairly early on if you ignore the western holds though in a full campaign it makes more sense to take them straight away.

You need to siege Karak Norn by turn 3. Recruit three gobbo spears first turn, move into position turn 2 and assault immediately turn 3. The dorfs will only outnumber you by a few hundred so you can beat the stunty scum if you're not stupid. Works every time on VH, haven't tried legendary so yet.

Wood Elfs will probably have Vanguard mechanics like Beastmen/Vlad, buttloads of archers with the "elite" ones having some Armour piercing or other bonuses.
Add in some Giant Trees Of Fuck You and pegasus riders to get your local hippies.

High Elves have a pretty "standard" fantasy army (Think of Empire with fancy creatures instead of war machines), they're however an "elite" army and a glass cannon with some of the best wizards.

Dark Elves use repeating-crossbows instead of bows, will probably have some kind of venom attacks around the army and love weird creatures like harpies/hydras. Their assassins were able to rape Greater Daemons of Khorne on the Tabletop so keep an eye to the shadows.

I think naval battles got cut for the same reason Avatar Conquest got dropped. They are simply too much work to dedicate to something that a very, very small portion of their players actually play.

Don't do that. Saxons have Nordic units and those aren't updated for FOTE. Celts, Nords, and Slavs still need to be updated for FOTE (though that is less likely to happen because Warhammer).

This battle felt good to win, there was a lot of elephant on elephant combat. My general whom was my best fucking unit, the curr >:C fled immediately after his first charge because "oh no, a few stray fire arrows, whatever will I do?" and not just a flee, instant fucking shater, so I had to fight entirely without my general. The only reason I won was because my more injured elephant unit clutched a charge on the enemy general before the elephant unit broke immediately after the charge.
