Conversely, in Storyshift, so far every bit has been shown as Undyne ruining her own shows out of a determination to get Frisk's soul, while Asgore as the badass god scientist genius superhero makes sure that she's slowed down and stopped.

At the same time, they've gone ahead and had Asgore be so perfect that the Amalgamates are already out, so it's not like there's a precedent for him being anything but a paragon of truth and justice.

I wouldn't be surprised if the end of Hotland is gonna be just Asgore running in at the last second and beating Undyne up or something, at this point.
