Reminder to make and upload blockstrings so your fellow anons can practice better!
Make your replay slots, 4 routes, one for each slot. To save your replay data, go to the Training tab (6th tab), toggle the second option to set it to random if it isn't already, and select the second to last option. Select a slot to save. It will open a Menu, first option is title, second is Yes, third is No. Make a name then hit the second.
save with a filename that says the character (use RG for Ragna for example), and blockstring starter. Use KND if it's a oki on wakeup thing where you have to get hit by the first attack then try to block/escape.
Then go to Forum, that's the second to last option on the Network Menu. Open it, hit square, you should be brought to a menu. Go to the third option and pick the fourth on the list (Asia). That's the filter we'll look for when looking for uploads.
Press the second to last option in menu after to apply filter.
Hit R2 to go to the training tab. Press Triangle to create, select the second option in that menu. Title is first field (include /blaz/ in it so we can find it, though Asia's pretty dead so it should be easy), comments in second (list things like won't work if barrier/what gaps there are in certain slots and stuff if you want), last field is the data, select that and upload your recording. Press triangle again and select the top option to submit.

For anons who want to download the data, open Forum and filter for Asia like before. Hit R2 to view the training tab. Hit X to open the data and x to save.

There is a limit of one upload per user, so all blockstrings are welcome even if others play your character better!

It works now by only completing the animation on standing or grounded opponents. It will work on 3C if the opponent is sufficiently close to the ground. Generally this means after 5Cing an airborne opponent, delay the 3C, then 236D.

Do you even have a concept of flow and fun when playing a character? Combos shouldnt be disjoint and jarring like this change is. Bullet has the same with her gatlings changed entirely and no 5d on ground. Forgot: You can 236D off of OD j.2D, in some cases this is required to get 100 meter right before the combo timer or your OD timer runs out, right into OD Jyagaku. Very important use for it in combos right there.

Long range, easy to combo and fast pokes, great projectiles. Need to balance it out. She does 3.6kish midscreen with Bors off a 5B or 5C starter meterless, basically her damage is locked behind a special.
She has pretty good punishes too I think. 2C is i10 iirc and leads to 4k anywhere meterless, + gives safe Bors and advantage. 3C is easy to confirm off of CH or not, and big range.

The gameplay discussion on here will eventually begin to settle down, and /blaz/ will return to mostly waifu/storyfagging. However with only Remix and untranslated light novels giving new source material, that will have to eventually wind down too.

The problem is that I can't see waifu/storyfags mixing well with /fgg/ or, god forbid, /asg/. Ever. But in /blaz/ storyfags seem to be more than happy to talk about other fighting games' stories, especially gg. So maybe /blaz/ can change into a "fighting game story and waifu fagging general," leaving all gameplay discussion on /fgg/.

You're analyzing a character's personality based on her behavior in a gag reel instead of their behavior in the actual story. Mai actually has a better understanding of love than some of the other BB girls. She was able to immediately realize that Tsubaki was in love with Jin, something that Noel completely missed and Tsubaki herself denied. Also she actually admitted both to herself and to her friends that she loved Taro, which is more than a lot of girls in BB have done. Mai did admittedly deny being in love at first, but the main reason for that was that she didn't want to accept that she had started to like boys instead of girls.

But I do think she's a virgin. Her win quote against Kagura shows that she's still in love with Taro, and the way she's embarrassed when asking about him makes it clear that they never became a couple.
