You can make a new character, get the free coupons then exchange for whatever you want. Then, you can throw those items you bought on the ground the next day, pick them up with your main, and delete the alt.

It's a "flop" in the sense that it exists to sell amiibo titles. While it ironically did pretty decently in its own right, it obviously failed to sell the amount of amiibo they clearly expected it to.

Mind, the amiibo cards actually did okay (if not great); it was Festival's figures that performed catastrophically. HHD just tends to get lumped in with amiibo Festival for obvious reasons, especially since both got immediately shoved under the rug after the latter.

Wisp comes on Day #2 after you update. So if you started today, Wisp would come tomorrow.

You get access to the new campsite the moment Isabelle returns to the Town Hall. What's neat, is when you're choosing your map from Rover, it now lets you see the new campsite on the map. So if you don't like the location, as with any of the other town features, you can just switch to the next map.

Also, even though you can't access Wisp until the next day, there's still a non-villager NPC visiting in an RV that has furniture to sell. And Harvey offers two unique pieces of furniture daily to sell as well. All of this requires MEOW Coupons, which can be gotten the moment you start the game. You just need to fullfill the requirements (ie: catch 20 fish, hit a rock, spend 500 bells at Able Sisters, etc.)
