HS is extremely polished but on average I'd say the art is lacking which isn't what I'd expect of a company the size of Blizz. Even if the art is inconsistent it should range between exceptional and good, not great and awful.

It fixed some of the shittier classes like paladin and priest, and that was good.

It introduced a bunch of retarded rng cards and overpowered neutrals everyone was happy to see gone, and that was bad.

While Blizzard somewhat learned to adjust the power level of neutral cards after GvG, they still printed Yogg, portals, and left priest and paladin in the shitter, so I can't even count GvG as a learning experience.

The only time I ever spent money was the welcome bundle, and the only class legends I had were Antonidas and Krush and I got a dupe Tony.

Guys the only thing CW needs to do is a get a emperor tic on shield slam and priest has no chance. If you keep saving your entomb, warrior will just play c'thun, kill it with shield slam and then res the c'thun, and by the time you entomb the second one he already gave 40-50 damage to you and your board, and you already lost next turn. Now of course I was talking about late game, so if you somehow get perfect curve with some midrangey deck that runs double entomb with something like double injured blademaster into double res and double bishop then you will probably win since you can destroy the game before it reaches late, but I'm talking about a slow paced game that goes late where both players are passing their turns because they both have a bunch of reactionary cards as is often the case.

Anyway my question is if there are any other decks that can beat CW heads up on the late game, I guess the double entomb is the best you could all come up with, which is the same as saying no.

Reno Mage has the benefit of actually beating all Warriors and some or most Priests, and having decent, but not amazing, matchups with most meta decks.

It's inconsistent against zoo and shaman, but I play Elise in my list, and I've never lost to a single Warrior, which is just hilarious to me as a Mage. Back when more decks ran Finley, people would choose Armor Up against me, and it's pretty much 100% from there. Wouldn't Acolyte be enough. You could also put in Arcane Intellect if you really want it. Most decks can't kill you too early anyways so wasting a t3 for draws isn't bad.
Thalnos could work for both, spell power and draw. Loothoarder to trade some early shit while also getting a draw.

I only play on mobile, so this is the best I know how to do. I usually play to rank 5 and done any month I get the motivation, which I surprisingly did this month.

This is my list teched for the current anti-shaman meta. I'm running into far more Hunters and anti-hunters and anti-shaman lists than just Shamans, so I cut MC Tech for now. Babbling Book and Elise could both be exchanged for whatever else you wanted to run, I switched Summoner for Sylvanas when Druid was more common, but I think Summoner is better against the more board heavy matchups on ladder right now.

Polymorph is supposed to be in there, but I need to go back and take a look because I accidentally deleted my list and I can't remember what I would have cut.

Besides that, don't include Tony or Medivh at al in this meta, and the only dupe I'd consider is Ice Block.

I like this list for the most part. Explosion and Earthen have both been in my lists in the past. Flame Lance and Medivh are both garbage, but everything else looks great. I personally don't like Yogg, but I won't deny it works.

This game is ridiculous. The blizzard is bad at designing cards that almost every card in the game got nerfed eventually. IF this trend continues, in 5 years all the cards will be 1/1 and will cost 20 mana.

Typically all variants of control paladin (anyfin, N'Zoth, dragons).

Paladin is always a rough matchup for control warrior since warrior's removals aren't very efficient against Tirion while paladin can neutralize warrior's slow threats and put shit on the board at the same time.

Sure, it will probably lose to a C'Thun warrior that curved out perfectly with a coin from all the C'Thun shitters into Justicar into emps into Thaurisann on Brann and C'Thun into doomcaller, but how often will that happen. Especially dragon paladin shits on this gameplan because due to the variety of mid and big threats, plus extra shit from historians, it's just hard to keep your removal for your own C'Thun, so you end up with a 1/14 on board you have no way of killing and resummoning while the paladin hits you with recrutis and heals himself with all the spells he typically runs.

Of course dragon/N'Zoth paladin is a weak deck that has big problems against aggro and is an auto-lose to OTK decks, but it's the only deck greedy enough to compete with C'Thun warrior in the late game.

If you want to run him, I'd put in Mirror Image and Rag and Sylvanas and Barnes into the list. Judging from the number of Highmanes I've pulled from Barnes, it's probably stupid enough to work.

Also images seem pretty low impact now that you have both tome and book. You have so many chances to hit spells.
