Don't worry too much, its a simple new xenobio mistake. I figured it out by chance my first time because I double clicked the core and I was told it drew 1u from the slime core. Most new stuff comes out as bottles, so if it doesn't make one its in the core itself.

Pro xenobio tip: fill the syrine the rest of the way with any other chem like water for simple multiple uses in the case someone wants to join the master race. You still convert with less than 1u in you and that method puts ~0.33u in you. Lowest I've tried is 0.2u with high chance of success, 0.1u fails sometimes.

I once got lost in maint as a clown and wandered into R&D right before a plasma flood, I was honestly surprised when it was practically the only place in the station not burned to a crisp, the place has tons of natural airlocks and the fuckers that work there are some the most likely to know how to and have the means to weld vents shut
I was also surprised at how they were total bros to a random annoying clown that wandered in, and I ended up working with them to mount rescue/retaliation operations
Too bad science is one of the worst departments content-wise across every server except goon, where it is instead a nigh impenetrable autism fest like it should be (which unfortunately comes with the added burden of random faggots begging the science man to do their nerd math to send them on teleporter adventures, and then do all the work to bail them out when they inevitably fuck up and die)

Just count tiles on the minimap page, coords change each round so knowing that the center of medbay is 255 255 1 one round will mean nothing the next round. This exist becuase of tele mainly to prevent what you are trying to do from being easy. But the offsets from the tele pad are the same every round so count the difference in coords and apply that to the location of the tele pad.

I know it would, but you can't go hyper realistic. For one thing no one has the time or skills to 3D model like a pro. I think what you need to do is go low polygonal, with an artsy style. And then throw that in with some realistic lighting and good effects to get that ss13 mix we all love.

I may be biased since MML is my favorite game but I think this is the kind of art direction you should go in. Easy to develop content for and looks good without being 'cheapened' by the fact it's trying to be realistic.
