Here's a few tips on how to not die in the current AG event.

First things first, the girls that have resistance to confusion are these:

(Refer to the guide for their skills and stuff in English.)

0049 [My Coordinate] Miyaka

0082 [Don't Cry] Tsumugi

0148 [Sweet Marchen] Tsumugi
0149 [Idol Anytime] Sakurako

Their resistance goes from medium to High. Medium means they still might get confused but high resistance means you have a pretty good chance to not get confused. Some of the characters in that list can cure confusion and heal allies so they're going to be pretty useful in this incredibly frustrating event.

Odds are that you cant farm the last boss if you need a guide or tips like these so you want to farm on this boss here. Its a pretty easy stage and you don't even need confusion resistant units, just bring your best team and/or best DPS then just farm it normally.

If you want to try something harder, you could try farming the boss after this but keep in mind that you're going to need confusion resistant units, a good team and a good support. The ghosts cast AOE confusion and the boss here will endlessly revive the adds until you kill him so you'll most likely get wrecked if you're not prepared.

CLs and CAs are everywhere so the hardest ones would be the CVLs and the CVs.

I always go to Chapters III and IV when I need to kill carriers for the daily quests. Still, killing 100 CVs in a new server sounds like a pain in the ass.

The equipment that worth to give a damn about is the Nibelung Ring and the God Wing Helmet. You probably would want The SS characters personal equips but not really a top priority.

Yup better save your diamonds for some interesting characters like Ranko and Rieza. For some reason I really liked Rieza despite her awkward looking artwork and weaker stats compared to Thor but she have a skill that is good against god characters. Her 3D model is cute though.

Maid Kanon is very good as a starter 4*. Spear is easy to use, and her skill and friendship skill is great. But if you are serious about getting the best card, I would reroll in the climax gatcha (the one with bunch of Kanon and Shiho cards) as this pool has some of the best cards in the game. However, powercreep is a thing with BGHS and we will see stronger cards sooner than later.

Or, just reroll for your favorite girl.

For people rerolling BGHS now, what are some of the better Flora cards to get? We all know that /MUTE Renge is the only choice for the debut gacha, so a good reroll account comes down to which Flora you get. Any crystals should be going to climax gacha.

Renge, Hinata, Sakura, and I think Incognito Shiho from Second Story.
In debut gacha, Sadone and Kanon are both good too, but I guess they can't clear shit as hard as Renge.

If they wanted to be maximum try-hard, they should prioritize /mute Renge from debut and Revival Kanon or Prayer Shiho from the climax gacha. Flora cards are nice but I wouldn't reroll if that was a crummy roll compared to getting the other stuff.

In fact, should I change the suggestion in the reroll section in the guide? I haven't updated it since Revival Kanon and Prayer Shiho were added to climax gacha, but just having a broken card isn't very good motivation if you don't like the girl.

I don't even think you need to finish the first chapter to start story 2, which has a much easier normal start compared to chapters 1 and 2.
Desire for Climax cards comes from going through Story 2, not that it matters for those who don't care about the story or have a huge chunk of gems disappear into nothing when they do roll it.

It's something that let's you 'marry' your tanks. As for what it actually does, it lets you increase the level cap to 99 regardless of tank rarity. This also effectively '3 stars' purple/blue tanks, and gives them extra item slots. Also gives a fancy light blue frame instead of the normal blue/purple/orange frames.

Revival Kanon
Grief Shiho
Maid Kanon

Can anyone give a run down of the playstyle differences between the three and how big of a power gap there is between them?

I'd say revival is the most esports since HP nuke. It's what everyone was using for this ranking event

Revival Kanon: Large nuke that scales with HP, once you get her leveled and use HP girl link, you'll clear lots easily.
Grief Shiho: Nuke is large but I think it has a heavy SP cost and only marginal utility. It might be interesting to start only knowing of Shiho's dark side
Maid Kanon: Spear is fast and this has a good skill attack that also gives you a melee aoe on tap. But the buff goes away when hit, not on a time limit out like most. I think this will make things the easiest for you.

Both Revival Kanon and Grief Shiho use blade cannons, which are really quite slow depending on what you're doing. But the charged attack has a habit of sweeping through enemies, but that's only effective for trash or resistant enemies.

In my opinion, you should try rolling climax gacha with the Maid Kanon, most newbies seem to have good luck on non-guarantees when starting out. Climax gacha isn't going anywhere but I guess there's the risk of not getting anything when you do roll.

Currently, Revival Kanon is considered the best out of all the cards for her skill, but her skill damage is based on your HP so it might be lackluster until you get high level subs. As for play style between weapons, spear is simpler to use than blade cannon, but its not going to matter in the long run because you'll just be spamming skills or be using charge attacks.

Her basic attack is a piercing shotgun spread of arrows. So she's got an even better basic attack for mob clearing than Kiki.

Her first skill is a jump and shoot arrows down AoE, her second skill is a large flash step AoE, and her third skill is a melee attack that backsteps into a ranged shot. Don't have her 4th, 5th, and 6th skills since she's not leveled since she was just released.

Hard. Pretty much unplayable without Shinen due to two double-rows of Time Traps - and pretty much no reason to tackle it without an ideal 100 Luck team to begin with. Not to forget that nothing requires Leviathan Fangs yet. Thankfully. Fuck Sakaguchi if Seiryu^ will.

The proper way to use this breather would be working on rerecoding Leviathan^ to 100 Luck. Doing so with MZ7 would be easier, but it should work with MKZ6 as well, if one keeps an eye on its Exp and secures the jump from L69 to L80. You mean the light rate up? Its the same every event, they put a Weak element up gacha on the final days of the event.

Normal gacha is actually better if you're aiming for any of the new units since they have a higher % compared to the other 4*'s in the pool. The airi is amazing and esports plus works as a rainbow leader, the 2nd rainbow leader in the game.
Sakurako is useful in this event and that Tsumugi is top cute.

I already did my first 10-roll once and was lucky enough to get a 4* so I think I'll try to hold onto the rest of my gems and go all in for xmas, I'll carry myself with freebies and these trials characters til then.

Should I use 3* dupes as subs or level up skills in AG?

I kind of want to roll the star gacha, but I've only got about 3,500 gems and have been on a losing streak with my last handful of rolls. 3-star something doesn't feel like it would be consistent enough, especially when there are weapons for characters that I don't have. Is Odin only available during these star festivals?

If you don't want to grind this painful event then the bare basics would be enough items to +2 the event girl (Should be 2+6 if I'm not mistaken) and the pots.

The discounted super cookies are real nice for leveling your units since you're very likely to have a lot of units in need of levels.

Also, the third box of the Lucky gacha has a Freesia stone for trials stuff plus all the goodies you'll get while doing it so try to get if you can. Its probably no big deal if you cant since these trials characters are definitely going to be a long term grind kind of thing so don't expect to finish them anytime soon. At least they're super cute and come with super good skills so they made them worth the investment and grind.

Guardian Codex feels kinda similar to Kairisei MA, only instead of the deck you have character abilities and special attacks. There are also these 'rotation quests' for different bosses and such. Music is good(one thing Squeenix can't fuck up at).

Can't say I'm impressed by the the graphics, I've seen better and more impactful mobages with 3D this year, but the game is still relatively fancy.

If I got this right, both japanese players and global players are using the same server. Because I've seen many nicknames in moon.

Also you can actually rename characters you're using.
