I placed 67 S1 and then 2.9k S2 as a solo PS4 player.

Really though, don't think about rank too much as a solo. It is all luck of the draw.

I had an absolutely baller S1 placements. Went 9-1 with multiple people in mics each game, just slaughtering each game. Captured points in most games in less then 4 minutes. Hanzos getting 50 elims, everyone doing their jobs. This was all with pre-buff D.va and some Lucio. S2 went much worse, hence the drop. Lucky S1, not so much S2.

Solo Q is legitimately a game of chance. Not many people are good enough to carry in this game, so don't beat yourself up. Even '''pros'''' can not carry every time.

Maybe this needs more explanation. Winston can drop his barrier down in time after seeing Ana's sleep dart animation. Even if you're playing on 30 tick, you can drop it preemptively. If you don't bait out the sleep dart and you're stuck inside your barrier while Ana gets out of range of your tickles... guess what?

You've done your job still. Ana can't heal her team because your barrier's in the way, and you've forced out her grenade for self-healing. You're also disrupting the back line, possibly drawing a DPS away from the rest of the team fight.

It happens, but you should be able to catch it 2/3 of the time at least. Just stand at 5 meters and barrier the instant her rifle disappears. Remember that you've still done your job if you forced out the grenade, put the barrier between the Ana and her team, and timed your attack so the Ana is distracted when the team needs her. Drawing out Ana's sleep dart for a non-ultimate is also highly valuable. It removes the team's main defense against your own Ana's ultimate.
