Blademaster has more CC and does more damage. They're both tanky, but Vanguard is tankier than Blademaster. There's probably more differences, but I didn't play either class very much.

Almost all F2P MMOs are P2W in some form or another, the only difference being how tolerable the P2W is. I thought the P2W in BDO was OK, but the gear scaling was absurd. The P2W in Blade and Soul wasn't OK. For Aion...I don't remember that being P2W, but I haven't touched it in years.

I didn't mind Tera's "p2w" stuff but that was before the cashop dragons they recently implemented which give your crit stat a boost I think.

Having premium gave you lots of convenience stuff such as double entry to dungeons and double daily credits making you earn gold a lot faster. You could buy elite with ingame gold though and farming up to that amount of gold back then cost you like 1 week of dailies(without elite) and after you had elite it would only cost you around 3 days of dailies.

It's the time difference and the impact of having higher AP than someone else. You can either 1) spend months grinding for the best gear, or 2) swipe.

This only really matters in PvP though. The PvE is easy and fuck and keeps getting easier with each update, so it's not like you ever need to have the best gear.

I've played with Codex in Tera and BnS and I know what you mean. There's usually your circlejerk of 15-20 people who only do stuff with each other and then there's the rest. You can't deny though that they completely tryhard at every game they play and if there's some sort of PvP guild ranking involved they're usually first.

Looking at the EU guilds rec forum on the forums I'm already seeing some popular names, Codex, Elysium, Monsters Inc, Ninkyo Dantai, Raidcore.. etc and if they're all really gunning for top spots then the first few months of Rev online PvP should be pretty fun.

I'm just going to go with some midcore normie guild if we don't get enough anons for our EU guild.

Aion is a terrible game with boring combat and is dead as fuck don't even kid yourself on this one.

Black Desert has been ruined by Daums greed. "Hey guys I know we made it a buy to play game as a promise not to include pay2win features in the cash shop but we are going to include them anyways. Also here is a monthly sub you need or you will fall behind". Game had potential totally ruined by douchebag publishers/devs.

Blade and Soul is alright but lacks open world anything and doesn't feel like a true MMO. The "1v1 only" style of PvP is also a real turnoff. Just play a fighting game instead.

Revelation seems to have potential to do the good things of Tera and BnS combined. Of course it could also do the opposite and do both of them terribly, but the beta only costs 18$ to get in so worth a try.

Guilds can upload their own crests, but if you mean putting your own designs on armor, then no. There's no transmog system. Instead, you get a separate section for costume pieces apart from your actual armor slots.

Costume pieces, weapon skins, and etc. have their own separate section within your equipment tab, and you can remove them whenever. There's no real need for a transmog system.

Mangobay was such a stupid guild, they had levels and gear but it was the most disorganized rabble I've ever seen, could barely even be classified as a community. Leadership was non existent and it was essentially 100 no life autism sufferers who barely played together and just happened to share a tag. Going to be playing Gunslinger here, are they wanted in late game? To be honest from what Ive seen it looks like everyone just stacks Blade masters and sword mages..am I going to be irrelevant later on? I dont really want to play either of those classes (seem like they press too many buttons and I already have hand issues from Tera/BnS/WoW), wanted to change my class style up a bit.

A lot of people say this game is not alt-friendly, since it takes a lot of play time to perfect your gear and skill trees. I would hate to pick a class that wont be picked for anything and be too far behind to catch up. Thats what drew me away from Blade & Soul.

Gunslinger has the best single-target damage, so they're wanted for dungeons and raids. For PvP, they get shit on 1v1 because they really lack mobility. They're great everywhere else though, provided their team knows how to support them.

The game does seem to have some actual skill queuing, so if you have 300 ping you don't end up with a half second delay in between each button press.

But yeah ping is still a noticeable advantage in this game. Not so bad where the best players in the game will just coincidentally live within 100 miles of the server like Tera, but still an advantage.

Pretty sure gunslingers are/were pretty much top DPS. I'm not sure where you saw that blademasters and mages were stacked, as far as I was aware people didn't like blademasters because they had the highest chance to be bad and get hit by everything.

Also the game not being alt friendly is entirely how you want to look at it. Having alts is going to really help for crafting and gathering and what not. But if you're looking to have alts to gear up in top stuff then you're probably gonna struggle.

They're both good, but BM is harder to PvE with because attacks can 1-shot you at higher difficulties and you're always going to be near/inside the line of fire. It takes a lot of balls and quick reflexes to play.

This game has actually surprisingly good optimized netcode. It runs good enough on CN starting from under 200 ping, for action combat game that's solid.
On the other hand though in Russian CBT publisher added their own anti-hack and it regularly fucked up game latency AND fps throughout CBT. So it remains unknown whether they learned something from their Russian branch or not. We'll see soon enough.
