The trio gained some genetics from Sephiroth because Sephiroth went into the lifestream after death. Lifestream being a cycle and all that.

So the trio find out they have similar traits to Sephiroth and thus feel like they have a bond like brothers. In their research of Sephiroth they find out about Jenova and her connection to Sephy and thus feel like Jenova is their "Mother" like she was to Sephy.

So when Kadaj, who's having an identity crisis of whether he's his own person or "just a clone of Sephiroth", wants to challenge his deceased "brother" Sephiroth to see who "Mother" chooses, Kadaj or Sephiroth.

The Head of Jenova ended up completing the lifestream cells that were in Kadaj's body to essentially "bring back" Sephiroth. Sephiroth who all this time has been in the lifestream and has been watching over the planet (As seen in On the Way to a Smile), so that's why he recalls Cloud beating him before.

The fusion was only temporary though, even if Sephiroth won, as Jenova's Head lost the last of it's "lifestream energy" after being out of the case Rufus put it in for too long.

So yeah, there is a reason for it. But in the end it was just essentially to have a Cloud vs Sephiroth fight #2 because "SEPHIROTH R COOL".

Luneth is the second innate DW character and Refia has the full package for a healer(Curaja/Esuna/Arise) alongside Embolden which is a stronger Cheer.

Light's time in the spotlight isn't done yet, Luneth is marginally worse due to poor elemental exploitation.

Luneth literally has DW, that's his only claim to fame. He's very F2P friendly for a 5*, but that's a very odd thing to be for such a rare unit.

Firion will matchup with Luneth's damage when the ability enhancements arrive. His Legends Killer and Fin Briar buffed does some crazy numbers. And we do have Abel on Teedus' first banner that has DW attached to his TMR and he's a 3* base with a rate up.

Everyone has at least cheer. If you don't have at least cheer, you aren't doing physical right.

His buff only increases his attack 20% over cheer.

By using advance, you actually drop your damage output by 4.08163% over 3 turns, because you wasted a turn you could've used attacking.
And that's just with cheer (best case scenario), with any other buff it's even WORSE.

It doesn't matter what your attack is, it's always going to be a 4.08163% drop. That's just how percentage increases work.

Here comes the part where bad news has to be broken:

Refia's on banner rates are gonna suck. They are going to be 5.5%, based on every other banner with the 5* 4* 3* 3* structure.

That means you'd need 13 pulls just to have a 50-50 shot at at least one Refia. 34 pulls would net you an ~85% chance at at least one Refia. Even 50 pulls is only a 94% guarantee.

So expect to burn through all your tickets, and expect to get a lot of Arcs and Inguses.

From yesterday I was recommended to get a job pull and then go for the 30-day box thing. I have 3 of the 6 summon tickets to do a job pull, is it safe to say that anything I pull from that should be my new go-to job that I focus on (instead of onion knight, mage, ranger)?

Also what to do with these other tickets? Is there anything from the ability shop that could help me out for a few tickets early on? There were a couple others too I think, spirit tickets and friend tickets.

Finally fusion confuses the shit out of me. Is there a good way to do it early on or is nothing I have even worth fusing for the time being?

What abilities are best for you will depend on what class you are, which can in turn depend on what the job summon gives you. In other words, you might want to hold off on purchasing cards until your job summon if you want to be fully efficient with ability tickets

I could see the downside of her not having good physical weapon options at the moment, but possibly overlooked due to her support and tanky behavior (all those elemental resistances, and can still buff them and the party even further).

I hope to have some nice pulls come Friday. I don't really have much at the moment with just 9 tickets and a little over 1500 lapis, With so few pulls, shouldn't get any hopes up, but I could use some more dependable heroes on the team, having only started 2 weeks ago.

I'm playing the game on an emulator at the moment, and out of all of them, Droid4x runs the smoothest for me, though it doesn't seem to like playing the Esper animations and crashes the app, though you can disable the Esper animations in the options. I haven't had any issues besides that, but towns and fighting is pretty smooth, better than Andyroid which slowed down a lot.

Well, my two week team is pretty much a maxed Black Cat Lid, a 4* Tidus, 4* Terra, 4* White Witch Fina, and a 4* Russell, so I can't say i'm losing much outside the Black Cat Lid.

I don't even like White Witch Fina that much: Her 5* requires 15 Sacred Crystals which I think is a lot, and there are other healers that do what she does better. No Curaja and only Cheer which most other supports have. Her Ritual is lackluster since I'd imagine Curaja outperforms it (percentage heal isn't good for lower HP allies), and there are other ways to manage MP.

If I don't get anything good on Friday's rolls, I'll try rerolling. I'll miss my progress, but with what I learned about the game in the past 2 weeks, with any luck I'll probably have a better start than I did.

Current Ashe banner has Ashe BSB and Vaan BSB which are both very strong. Onion Knight banner (4 weeks) has great buffs in OK's BSB. Ayame banner (5 weeks) has a great EnIce BSB for DPS. The Minfilia banner (11 weeks) is overpowered in every respect.

Honestly his event banner is really nice in general. Luneth's BSB and Arc's SSB medica (that is just Minwu's instant Curaga with a physical blink attached to it) share the banner with Onion's BSB and his physical SSB, and they're all really good.

There are Cid Missions that take place during the event that only require you to level OK up to level 80, and those missions give you 5 free motes right there.
The U+ also gives one more are a clear reward.

You seem to be contradicting yourself, here. The candy grind is trivial. It doesn't require a macro, or anything, and collecting moogles isn't really that hard. At the end of November we'll have had a total of 7.
