Other than the occasional "why do you guys tolerate DLC" arguments that crop up occasionally, /twg/ is a pretty decent general. We get decent discussions going, and the constant updates with Warhammer means there is usually new things to talk about.

Though it can get pretty bad when a DLC is close to release and we are biting our nails off for CA to release official news.

To reiterate I have 6 Grombrindal the White Dwarf keys to disperse amongst /twg/.

I also have 10 of the 20% of TW:W keys but I don't think anyone really wants those.

HOW TO GET A KEY: Respond to this post with a timestamped (important) image of documentation that shows you aren't near any GW stores. This documentation can be a passport, a driver's license, a housing lease, any document that shows your citizenship will do. Please don't be a dumbass, make sure to blur out your names and any important information you don't want displayed aside from the nationality.

Priority will be given to non-US/EU anons, but if there aren't many takers I'll be giving them out to basically anyone who is just far away from GW stores in general.

Please provide me with a Steam ID so I can contact you and provide you the code via Steam Chat.

RETRIEVAL PROCESS: I'll add you on steam, confirm your interest, and give you the code. You will then confirm you've used the code and everything is working fine. After that you are free to do whatever.

You can delete me from your friends list, call me a faggot and block me, keep me as a friend, cuss me out in Russian, whatever it is you want to do.

I'm hoping it will actually be a narrative campaign this time, instead of a stupid list of objectives like the Beastmen.

Like having some unique dialogue during important battles, or having a specific objective like "stop Morghur's resurrection" that will change the campaign's progression if you fail. Anything really to not make it the one note borefest of the Beastmen DLC.

Come to think of it has anyone counted how many regions are in the base Warhammer map? CA said each expansion is standalone and would be comparable in land to the base game. I still think the first expansion will be an expansion to the south and east adding TK,OK and CD's. The borders for a standalone expansions are already in place. I know everyone says the Russian datamine says Expac 2 is Chaos Gods but I don't see how that would work as a standalone unless they use Empires theatre system to a Realm of Chaos and/or massively expanded Chaos Wastes.

They said Skaven won't be in the first game so Skaven as DLC for the first expansion would make a lot of sense aswell with the fact you have the main faction start at Skavenblight so there a threat in the west and a minor playable one at Crookback Mountain in the Darklands so theres a threat in the east.

The database DLC has gone dry for the next ones after Wood Elves and Bretonnia so could a Expansion 1 in Spring 2017 be real? It's certainly possible.
Considering the entire fantasy team went to work on Expansion 1 the week the game shipped and the map and its rough outlined ingame regions are already in the game files. According to the Russians there are topography and textures already in place beyond the mists that block the south and east.

I don't see what they would do for DLC though. A shit ton of Lord packs? Minor faction remakes? Cosmetic additions like banners and drums?

I think there's a limit on the realism on these kinds of things, for me at least. The appeal of total war, is that I over see the battlefield I give my commands and my troops obey. This just seems like more clutter between you and what you want to happen.
It'd be like having to wait for permission from the senate to go on a campaign. Or waiting for parliament to debate the ethics of a new technology. It sounds cool initially but you can bet your ass it'll be executed poorly and it'll be tedious.

There are some but they aren't really worth it for the most part I feel. Empire has 3 variants, Chaos will eventually fight you with 10 stacks of skirmish cavalry and boil your blood.

I don't find Empire that fun because there is the matter of constant enemies trying to fuck you from all sides, but having to contend with counts being faggots and beastmen trying to burn your outlying towns down and marienburg jews trying to fuck you up and orcs and skarsnik coming out of the mountains to fuck with you and vampires in the east fucking things up certainly keeps things interesting

With the dwarves you don't really have to contend with other dwarves but instead have to send your conquering armies out to save the holds before the orcs kill them off, and then they confederate with you

with the vampires it's obviously a game of waiting and building up agents and cash for a big push into the empire before or after chaos runs through

I guess I find Chaos interesting for the same reasons as Empire, there is never a dull moment as the Chaos horde- the problem of course being that the whole tribal awakening process is pretty much retarded and a huge red herring

It is the most fun TW campaign i played since Shogun 2, especially compared to regular Dwarves, where you eliminate Grimgor on turn 30 and then just sit on your ass for 100 turns, building up your economy.

I don't have any DLC for it so apart from seeing enemy armies with RoR I have no idea how they actually work. I've just been disappointed that there are no mercs given how they've been in every TW game and they don't seem very difficult to implement.
