Titanfall 2 dares to take steps away from Titanfall 1, makes things even faster, and has some interesting balancing changes. The rodeoing has become much more diverse, and the movement even more fluid. It's a joy to play. Some cheese combos of TF1 no longer work, and light Titans are somewhat underwhelming. I miss my 40mm Stryker. Tone with Turbo Core gives some of those feels, though.

It's called damage control. It's EA own falt for releasing TTF2 so close to their own BF1 and to CoD. It was suicide for Titanfall, but they did it anyway. i'd be fine with it but i doubt that timeline is matched up or that respawn could improve enough between games to make it worth it.
Honestly the amount of Titans right now feels perfect.
The guns are varied enough and the customization levels for weapons are perfect, thank fucking god there are no suppressors on main weapons so i dont have to deal with more camping bitches than i already do

A bigger playerbase, some different modes, new maps, and a small balance patch is all the game really needs to last a solid 2-3 more years for me.

The biggest problem for TF2 is the free dlc, down the line the game is less likely to go on sale if there is no dlc. A game going on sale now is usually supported by the publisher since a good amount of the people buying it will go on to buy the dlc, especially if the game is multiplayer focused

I really hope Respawn comes out on top here but i cant see it happening

Both of these assumptions are true probably, worst thing that could happen to EA if TTF2 fails in sales is that they will own both Respawn and the franchise. TTF2 probably was very cheap to make compared to something like BF1 so for EA it's still a win-win situation.

So I flipped R1<-->R2 and L1<-->L2 in PS4's custom bottom configuration. I did this because G2 is a fucking killer weapon and using the R2 trigger doesn't allow me to blast it in quick succession easily.

Now I'm all fucked up 'cause muscle memory, keep pressing L1 to jump when it's now mapped to L2 etc

What is the general consensus on the Cold War 4 round grenade launcher thing? Im wondering if its better than my EPG-1, which I have been using non-stop since Friday.

Which pilot setup and which titan setup would allow for a "trapper" kind of build. As in like setting traps but not camping? I don't want to camp and also, which titan best suits for a guard? I don't want to pilot it all the time.

Despite being "chargeup+burst" what it does is actually provide more spreadout, adjustable spray of fire than the EPG. If someone jukes the moment you fire your first shot you can actually track them with the rest of the barrage. However it generally takes four shots (the full burst) to kill someone, so the utility is questionable in a 1v1 faceoff situation.

It IS however extremely useful when trying to wing a guy running away from you at a distance who's wallrunning/spazzing around/generally being a pain to hit, which does describe quite a few situations. Being able to walk your shots onto them as they fly around will help you secure kills in those situations.

-Always use variable
-Always use 2 pass
-The avg anime clip is usually 1 to 1.5 min at >640x360 resolution

I put my LOD scale to 0.
Basically the game assumes everything is infinitely far away. So I always get the lowest quality models and effects.

I also messed with it some more.

Like I said, my eyesight is worse then it when I was younger so I find it harder to aim and hit targets with a controller now. Still did pretty well on the MP Titanfall demo they had at the local mall though.
