You also have to understand that not all classes are supposed to be equal in all fields.
Dragon's board wipe is worse but they have ramp and insanely strong late game. It's not a control class and was never intended to be.
Haven is intended as a control class first and foremost, despite them making Storm Haven a little too good, so they get the most consistently strong board clear. And it's worth noting Haven was always bad before DE, which is why they gave them some crazy shit like Aria and Garuda.

Elana is a slow card: it's a 3pp amulet that rewards healing, a very defensive mechanic.
Aria is definitely too good, but once again, Haven was awful before DE. Blood was bad too but Blood used to be tier 1 before PtP became a deck: Haven never was good because they had no win condition and countdown amulets fucking sucked besides a few. They gave them Aria because Haven really needed it, but it was a little too pushed.
