the last game I played with any regularity before moving on to siege was Dota 2, and two things that are very consistent across both games are
a) how reliant you are on your team to perform
b) how a cohesive, communicative team can punch several ranks above their weight when facing a less coordinated team

and, like in dota (although to a much lesser extent) this can lead to blaming all failures on teammates' failings. I think the only reason that this isn't as bad here as it is in dota is that by sticking everyone in first person you don't really get to see what shit your teammates are up to, so while you can be like "shit, why wasn't anyone covering me" you can't be like "FUCKING TWITCH, I SAW YOU LOOKING AT THE FUCKING WALL THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS DYING YOU INBRED CRETIN DID YOU BUY YOUR FUCKING ACCOUNT? Yeah because it took me 2 weeks to get my game working initially and it was because it needed a BIOS update and a CPU overclock. Something that no other game has ever required before or since.
And then it stopped working for 3 months randomly and it needed a cpu underclock to get it working.

AC is the one series from them I don't really play but out of that series I've heard love for all except unity which was a catastrophe of buginess.

I play the far cry series and each one was well made and fun to play, with Primal being the least interesting.

I played the Prince of Persias and there isn't a bad game in the lot.

Same is true of Splinter Cell. At worst I could say Conviction doesn't fit in with the core mechanics of the rest of the series but taken on its own it remains a good game.

When it comes to their smaller scale games, Rayman legends/origin were great, child of light was great, grow home was cute, blah blah blah.

Actually the thing about fallacious arguments is that they are only logical fallacies if used in certain ways. Since "quality" is a subjective attribute, sales and critical reception are a good measure of whether or not something is. If people getting paid to review the quality of things say that thing is good, and a large number of people are actively spending their dollars on something (suggesting that, yes, these millions of people think it's good), it's a valid point.

I can keep going but the best measure of quality is whether or not it has mass appeal. If people like it and are willing to a good chunk of their daily salary (or in same cases, more than what they make in a full day of work) - it's probably a logical place to start your thesis with "well, I imagine it's not complete dogshit"

There's a clear difference between bad game design where all the mechanics don't form good, whole dynamics and where every mechanic is useful. And a bad game design where there are some mechanics solely to uphold a certain feature that don't really form good dynamics with other mechanics. Like far cry 3+ for example, where the exploration and gameplay progression is completely fucked by radio tower and where hunting is only useful until you have the stuff you need and then for 90% of the game it serves absolutely no function.

Rook and Doc on Defenders. They are garrison operators - they set up in the objective room and basically defend. Rook has one job, and it's done. Doc, watch the health bars and you are pretty much set.

I find on attackers Thermite, if you follow your team, is pretty easy. Sledge is also super easy if you want to try roamer hunting (smash through every fucking wall on the map), or even playing with a team as you can just open everything and it helps. - For attack Capitao and Buck are also super ez mode, since they are only attackers with no other real abilities.

Tachanka is really not that bad, I don't really get why people meme him so hard. He has a dam good weapon selection. Problem is his ability is highly situational and for no reason. All U-be-soft had to do is give him a DshKa not a DP-28, he isn't a fucking WW2 Vet.

Muzzle breaks are fucking worthless on automatics because they only lower 1st shoot recoil.

If your aim wasn't right on their head or if you miss with your 1st shot it will do nothing to help your recoil and is automaticaly worse than the Flash Hider or Compensator.
