I have consistently ranted about SENA's botched handling of this game. I've repeatedly called for the team handling this to be fired. I've joined the "Everybody's Disappointed" protest. I've lowered my review on the app store to 1 star, then raised it when SENA seemed to be headed in a positive direction, and now sent it back through the floor. I would say we are absolutely entitled to having the same features as the original version.

SENA including Brooms doesn't automatically mean everyone gets free Guilted Medals; it will just make life easier for everyone and bring NA closer to the JP environment that pretty much literally everyone wants.

There are other things they absolutely need to do, like permanent premium quests and daily Jewel quests. The F2P environment is currently an oppressive system wherein the only way to escape is to stop being F2P. The rift between free and paid is only growing wider, there are still F2P players who have been playing since day one that haven't finished their Adamantite quests, because they just fucking can't. They haven't had the opportunity to become strong enough.

With the recent MoG addition and Proud Mode on the horizon, there appears to be no light at the end of this tunnel.

But oppressive? No. That's absurd.

Not the same way for paid players, surely, but it's better than what they currently have, which is "get enough Jewels every month or so to make a pull wherein they probably will not get the Medal they want"
And that "probably will not" becomes bigger and bigger every time new Medals get added.
And then that unlikely success has to happen six times in order to achieve Guilt. You're looking at months and months to achieve Guilt on any given Medal for free.

Having Brooms added creates a more reliable system. Even if an F2P only gets the two Brooms in a weekly raid board, and the Coliseum Brooms/M&Bs, that's still a consistent flow. When you couple this with a higher volume of free Jewels, they get to make more pulls, which will get them more/better Medals, possibly some Guilt, and they can start climbing ranks and possibly get other Brooms that way.

Reliable but takes time > unreliable and also takes time.

There is no downside to adding them, there is no reason to believe that they shouldn't be added.

I disagree completely. FTP right now has a hard paywall, which no realistic amount of grind can overcome. FTP has such a restricted number of medals that there's not really a variety of approaches anyways.

The challenges that we're getting, as far as I can tell are unmodified from the orginal jp, while the medals we have are decisively inferior.

The challenge is absolutely still there, I'm constantly swapping in Medals I don't typically use to take on Proud Mode or Sun Gem quests. At this point Guilted Medals are a necessity to perform and that means Brooms are also a necessity, which is why they're more readily available lately.

This level of difficulty will reach NA soon enough, and no amount of "but premiums are still in the pool!" will help free and cheap players make a dent.

The master has a Black coat, and happens to have knowledge of future events and seeks to cause the keyblade war. He also has an apprentice name Luxu which is based on the word Luxuria. The Proud Mode Keyblades (Sleeping Lion, Counterpoint, Fenrir) do not need Orichalcum, and by the time the next Keyblade that needs Orichalcum (Stroke of Midnight) comes out, you will have enough Orichalcum to upgrade it.
