Oceiros is a pretty great bossfight, definitely underrated.
FROM should do talking bosses a tradition like they did with the whole "each boss has 2 phases" thing. I wish Pontiff or Gundyr could drop some sick one-liners during the fight, it just adds so much to the overall atmosphere.

Sunken King easily has the best level design out of the three crown DLCs, you have extremely shit taste.

AoA will be regarded as the worst, purely because duration and the fact that most people don't consider an arena as something to crow about for a game released in current year.
This was DLC for DS1 and base game for DS2.
And even then the fucking arena isn't what's usually praised about AotA.

Also the items are kinda weak, with spells being outright joke tier ass. In comparison, Sunken King gives Tears of Denial, Dark Greatsword, Promised Walk of Peace and a fucking laser beam.

Not counting the rings (including several resist) in base DS3 (though Flynns might be argued because they made it trash) Sunken King gives you a ring with a chance to automatically deflect spells and grants you spell parry to everything. AoA gives you a single frost resist ring.

so you go down wolf canyon, down the slopes (or to viking tower with big boy wolfo 2 and fall down), to the second bonfire, then down the ladder, along the cliff, down the slide, through jumpscare town, through the graveyard, past the little church into the big building to end up at bonfire 3 with some other NPC, after that there's some more viking cliffs with some trees you can cut down as bridges, then you go to the top there, along the cliff, up the stairs & you up at pit-o-bug, go up the stairs and end up at ringlady

Unpopular opinion: I think that a DeS-like inventory weight system should be brought back with some major tweaks. It limited your options and didn't allow going on an adventure with a shitload of consumables and weapons in your magical bag of holding, which further made builds more specialized, which I find to be a good thing. Maybe even have separate stats: one weight limit for your character that would affect roll distances, and the other for your inventory space.
All while being able to access your storage from any bonfire, obviously.

I made a full dex character and I'm not sure where to put my last points.

I'm at 40 VIG 40 END and 60 DEX. I started thief and my STR is at base 9. I dont know if I should just dump the rest into VIT or put them into INT for great magic weapon.

How is Executioner's Greatsword on a mostly FTH build? Can it be any good or it better if you go STR/FTH and manually buff?

To be honest, i find the difficulty level of ds3 pretty good. Even after completing the game multiple times, i still can't steamroll bosses with the same ease i had with DaS1 and 2, even bloodborne to some extent.
Bosses such as Pontiff, Nameless King, Champion Gundyr, even Aldrich, still kicks my ass to this day.

DS3 is way better designed in terms of difficulty than any other game in series. That SIMPLE TRICK can be applied to any fucking game in the series, since many bosses can be parried, roll is your bread and butter, and r1 is usually the most efficient way of doing damage.
DaS3 bosses are, in fact, generally harder than DeS/DaS/DaS2 because they're much more aggressive and their movesets are more diverse. Things like O&S are incomparable to Gundy, they honestly appear to move at a snail fucking pace to me after watching Gundyr/Sully/Friede just slip n slide.

Nameless King for example, usually does a 2 attack combo, and rarely a 3 attack one, but if you sip right after the 2nd attack, he will 100% do a 3rd one.

After trying to do a bow run, all I can say is they are still not worth using as a primary combat weapon

80% of DaS3 content is basicly "Hey guys, do you remember how DaS1 was great? we sure do! have some more of this" The DLC is even worse in that regard, it blindly mimics the atmosphere of Painted World form DaS1 and BB. I don't mind a little nostalgia, but that game simply cannot create a stong, remeberable characters and iconic locations like it used to in DaS1. That franchise need to die and new one need to be born.

And I knew how to deal with her third phase because of Maria in BB.

That's how you know Miyasaki was behind it, and it's not DaS1, it's DeS, which is what DaS1 also did. "remember this from DeS? Well now it's back!" and he did the same in 3. Hell in one of the early interviews for DS3 he even said he loved doing the kind of levels like Boletaria, Undead Burg and now obviously Lothric wall and how he loved putting dragons in the early areas and so on.

By comparison, the game where Miyazaki wasn't leading(DS2) is the one that was very different from DeS and DaS1.

It's definitely worth it, if for no other reason than to see the origins of the series. And it's a fun game.

It's very unrefined though, you'll definitely feel it. And there's some pretty easy ways to break the game. But I still recommend it, it's a fun experience.

Finding out what BB was really about and the transition was far and away the most pleasant surprise I've ever had in a game.

The way they introduced you to it was masterfully crafted.

>Then Yhar'gahul proper during the ritual and the nightmares that follow
Can't even begin to praise BB for how well it was all presented and hidden from the public. What a treat.
