It's not supposed to be the same painted world, it's a new one. She carries on the tradition. The current painted world, home of the downtrodden and hideous, begins to rot over time. Instead of trying to cleanse the rot, it's easier to just start over again. The mother of the loli told her what to do, and she will eventually tell her daughter what to do, and so on. It's like a Lich King type thing. There always has to be someone willing to house the hideously deformed so they don't fuck up the real world.

How viable is a stealth character in this game? Thinking of using bleed/criticals with a bunch of stealth rings and spells for me next playthrough to take it to SL 120

so, it turns out if you make a new account on xbox, PSN, or steam, or in the case of steam, use family sharing to create a new account with a new save on dark souls 3, dorkmoon and blue sents will work flawlessly.

Don't know why, but it works on PSN too, tried it on there with a new account with a trial, as well as a friend testing it with xbl.

If you sent greirat to pillage irithyll, you have 2 options: save siegward from the well outside the cleansing chapel bonfire by buying his armour from patches and throwing it down, or getting patches back to firelink and telling him where you sent greirat without saving siegward or buying the armour.

If you do either, greirat will return from irithyll and will want you to send him to lothric castle, where he cannot be saved. If he dies in irithyll his ashes can be found in the sewer with all the spider monsters, if he makes it to lothric castle his ashes are up with all the flame gargoyles

Here's the difference:
1. The host can have more phantoms than ever, and can nearly instantly summon another when the first one dies.

2. The host has double the number of heals, and there's no humanity or equivalent to use for healing.

3. You're locked in to using the same upgrade level as hosts, so you can't get any advantage there.

4. Hosts now have giant seeds, completely eliminating any level advantage you might have.


I'm not even an invader, I just use the soap stone, but I can see now hugely this game stacks the advantages against an invader. Far, Far more so than the original game.

I would be happy if they went back to the system of only the host can heal with setup and all phantoms have to use shitter healing methods. I don't think the problem is the gank squads because in my experience they are rarely organised enough to not trip over themselves trying to kill you. The issue is that you can continually beat on the but you have 7 estus and a 4 man squad can have up to 36.

Also make it so invaders in the same covenant (except mound makers) are on the same team. At that point the field would still be in favour of the host but much more even and, dare I say it, fun

I'm not trying to give you a hard time. I'm saying Fromsoft need to get off the one idea they have for this series and maybe try something that isn't a futile cycle of death and rebirth with fire as the central theme.
Granted, they're pretty huge parts of the universe, but we're winding up the franchise at this point; it would be nice for something different to round it all out.
I don't think we're going to get anything more than an end to the Ashen One's story out of the next DLC, personally: this one should have set up something important, and the one in January should have been the one to put it all to rest.

Most people who maged in previous souls games only did it because it was the easymode, but they realized they can just make a quality melee weapon easymode instead, and then casuals still experience the game as intended instead of standing still and casting at things for out of their aggro range. They don't care what easymode is just as long as it's easy

Magic has never created an interesting pvp playstyle so pvpfags don't give a fuck about it.

Give invaders a decent form of attack in group fights. Like a WoG worth using, or Firestorms that are intimidating. For the sake of experience, fun and collecting all sorceries for the first time I'm doing a pure sorcery build.

Just got to Irithyll and it's pounding my fucking ass. These enemies are very very aggressive and without parry, much health, or a weapon that scales with Int I'm struggling very hard.

What SL are people normally here? I'm 44 and I thought I was overleveled but I forgot the level progression. What kind of spells should I use or have at this point? I'm using the greatsword because it does 1/3 of enemy health per swipe with my loadout and I just have to be patient with the casts and time my rolls with half an ass.

Majula was comfy, but Firelink was comfier.
Firelink had the greatest feeling of relief pre-lordvessel because you couldn't just warp to there. It actually felt like respite and not a loading screen or two and a level up.
