I literally haven't seen anyone use that hyperbole as of late. But even if I had, I must admit, it's damn fun. By far the best meshing of sonic physics and 3D I've played. (although going around loops could use some work, the camera's not always great and it suffers from the age old problem of being too open at times and being difficult figuring out where you're supposed to go). But jumping feels good, It really encourages you to gain speed. The way sonic hones in on enemies feels more natural than homing attack but still locks you on to enemies.

I honestly look forward to seeing more. Maybe adding in other characters like tails would be neat.

I love both of them equally.
I think both if given levels that work to their games advantage, they could be genuinely great things.

GHP with it's speed earned thing could make for fun as fuck levels, with rewards for traversing the terrain so well, and Utopia looks to be one hell of a faithful 3d recreation.

The music for both is god tier.

This is the thing I was by far the most curious about. I don't really have any friends to play sonic with anymore but I'm pretty excited about that.

Also tails seems to fly for a pretty long time in this game but maybe it just feels really long because it's been a while since I played as not Sonic.
Knuckle's animations while climbing are also pretty damn great.
