I'm currently using my 32GB SD card on my A9LH n3DS. I have an old 16GB SD card and a serious lack of space on my 32GB card. Will I be able to just switch around the 2 SD cards without any problems? I acquired a large amount from a pawn shop. I do repairs for them on stuff like arcade cabinets and TVs and they give out my card for people who need light fixtures installed, electric work, y'know, trade skill shit because fuck college.

So, I was in their back room and took a look through their video games shelves and they just had an oil drum full of DS'. Some don't work, but most do. They boot slot 1 anyway, which is really all you need. They were gonna trash them because they refused to sell for less than gamestop. So, I paid about $100 and replaced a few boards on some arcade cabinets, cleaned out and dusted some PS2s, and they gave me the drum. Pretty good deal overall, honestly. I already sold 2 of the pink lites for $75 to some soccer mom on craigslist. So, while i'll be reselling most of them after some cleaning/scratch repair, i'll still have a HUGE amount to just fuck around with in whatever way I please.

All right. I hacked my 3DS this February and haven't really kept up with the hacking scene ever since. I'm still using the 9.2 SysNAND/current EmuNAND set up on Cakes 138 (back when the Plailect guide still had 5 steps and mainly uses Cakes). Current firmware is 11.1 (I mainly wait until the internet says it's safe to update then do it on my EmuNAND).

I heard that getting al9h is really easy now and Cakes is now outdated, while Luma3DS is the new best thing. How do I set up al9h + Luma3DS? I also use BootNTR.

Last I remember, if you format before downgrading and avoid putting your 3ds to sleep on 2.1 (or just messing around on there longer than you have to, really), there's no risk. Many people urge others to switch to the al9h+Luma setup because most of the other CFWs' updates have been dropped already, but besides the speed and non RF .cias difference there's barely any reason to do so.
