Hopefully nerfing DBM is going to mean they can add more obvious indicators into the game itself. I think Blizzard could learn a lot from the way XIV indicates mechanics in boss encounters so that players don't need a third party addon to actually do the fight.

/wowg/ I am a holy pally, and there's a resto sham in my raiding guild. Our ilvl is virtually identical (I'm 864 he's 863) yet on most fights we're pretty much tied for healing.

What's wrong here? From everything I've read, I should be well above him. Looking at our logs, I have a pretty good spread of spell use, and his highest source is Chain Heal by far. Is it possible to compete with the automatic targeting of chain heal, or do I just need to git gud?

This is what I run. I tried out Bestow Faith but it honestly didn't feel right to me so I dropped it and went back to the hammer. I can see the appeal of Divine Purpose but with Holy Avenger you can just quickly cast a flash of light into a holy shock or matyr if the tank is taking a lot. Millions of people played WoW when it came out and I guarantee you 75% of them didn't even raid.

The game was casual when it came out because compared to other mmos at the time, it was extremely accessible from the UI, the combat and down to the questing system.

You have to understand that most people's experience with Vanilla/TBC was the leveling experience and most people probably stopped playing once they reached max level.

Crit is definitely always the best, and for the second slot from what I've read mastery is technically better than versatility IF your group is stacked tightly the entire fight. In reality shit happens so versatility is better.

Maw is by far the easiest, Small packs means you can pull 2 or more even with Bolstering, Besides the first boss ( only his dark slash ) the bosses don't hit hard making the Tyrannical Affix mean nothing, and as a final point Helya doesn't really attack besides for minor white swings meaning your healer can dps that whole fight besides the odd dispel and heal if people catch her casts.

Court on the other hand can be a cunt even with a good healer if matched with Tyrannical the only reason it is one of the easier ones is due to so many cheeses throughout the instance to cut time - Alcy on first boss,Wall glitch after first boss, triple council kill on second, Paladin tank for finding guess who in 10 seconds with 1 clue and bugging guess who mini boss with an Outlaw rogue, All these give you so much extra time to work on the bosses, However anyone thats actually ever done a CoS 10 + with Tyrannical will tell you how much of an asshole the last boss is.

Getting rejected from mythics. On a serious note, trinket empowerment snapshots got fixed so moonkin damage got nerfed as a result. It was already below average before so it's even worse now. The only moonkins you'll usually see are those who got the legendary helm. Those who didn't get lucky probably rerolled into resto/guardian/another class. The difference is like 40-50k with that legendary.

All pve is mind numingly boring to me. All you do is a rotation and like 3 mini game mechanics, it's like a QuickTime event. Why wouldn't you play a single player hack n slash game if you want to fight AI bosses so badly?

If anything pve is a minivans, it's the same rotation over and over for DPS, the bosses are predictible. All you do is aoe trash and then DPS a boss and do his 3 mechanocs. Healing is like a QuickTime minigame. I've never tanked but i assume that is almost as bad.

Then once u beat the boss all it lets you do is kill more bosses, it's boring as shit

No, because Energetic Stabbing only affects how much energy refund you get, not how often. The obnoxious RNG of the spec is even worse than Outlaw, because at least Outlaw is designed in such a way that it can compensate for it.

Assassination is fine. If they increased the speed of it some it wouldn't be a problem. the "50% waiting" meme is overblown, it's because there's usually a small gap between using an ability and when you have enough energy for the next. Individually it's not much, but it builds up.

It's much better than the obnoxious Outlaw and Sub dry streaks where you have no energy for 5+ seconds at a time and can't do anything.

Nerf Mutilate damage by ~10% and make Venomous wounds 12 energy by default and 15 with Venom Rush and the spec is basically perfect.

Then why ask players why they like the PvE? I'll give you another example of the only other PvE game I play - Dragon Age: Origins. Great story, but I liked it because of the race/class options and the gameplay. WoW PvE has great gameplay. It could be better, like reverting some classes back (*cough* warlocks), but it's the only other PvE game I'll play.

On the other hand, I won't touch PvP here. I'll do a shooter, or a fighting game, or even two-player puzzle games. I won't touch PvP in a

Rupture damage is the best all-round relics because they work for all playstyles. Vendetta CD reductions are technically best for poison, but they're trash for Exsang so I don't bother with them.
