hi guys this is my dark souls OC Sister Elfriede "Blackflame" of Londor
shes a really tragic character who just wants to protect her world but she has a dark past with the sable church
shes really pretty but half her face is scarred and she doesnt like getting close to people

POWERS:
she can fly, teleport, turn invisible, ressurect from death twice without bonfire
shes faster than the hunter from bloodborne
she has 50000 hp and infinite fp and stamina
can use black pyromancy, heal miracles, frost sorcery without casting tools
she can explode huge areas at will with blackflame or ice
shes tougher than havel even in robes

WAEPONS:
she uses a 6 foot scythe and also a 4 foot magic staff that is also a scythe in each hand and can use blackflame and ice form both to make undodgeable attacks

if you ignore the weaponarts, it's a CCS that's all around worse but with fun L2's that are actually useful for spacing (though the CCS's reach advantage compensates for that).

If you take the weaponarts into account, it's a retard test since you can do well over 1000 damage with the combo, but only the third swing has hyperarmor and the actual attack frames come out later than the CCS's own move, making the CCS better for when you just need a quick unparriable swing.

Overall the CCS is better but the saber kills bad players more quickly and is slightly more fun.

Oh, yeah. GCBV kinda just shreds shit on its own. Pyros have it made this game. Their only limiter now is just how many stats it takes to get to 40fth/40int/30 attunement while still needing some vitality for good gear/fashion, and hp and the endurance to chuck around more GCBV. Onyx Blade pretty much is the end-all-be-all to pyro weapons, so that weakness is covered now.
Pyros are in a good spot.

DLC is meant for SL 60-70 or so I feel. Went through at 90/+10 on NG and it was a total fucking joke.
Valorheart is fun, but it only has 60% physical absorb so isn't anywhere near as good as it could be. Damage on it is decent, but isn't spectacular.

So what do you get out of the Arena?

Just a rant as I finished the DLC about thirty minutes ago, It took me 3 hours to beat... Is this what it's really come to soft? I acquired all the weapons, shields, spells and most of the sets apart from follower parts, and died to the bosses a few times.

I used a sl75 character and it took me that long, even without summoning any phantoms for help during bosses.

Only good thing to come out of this DLC is the arena a few new shiny objects to use and abuse, and some more "story" about sable church etc.

Did anyone else think after killing Blackflame Maria 2.0 that there was more to do? Such as finding Uncle Gael or speaking to NPC's (You can speak to the corvian nigga in the building he'll give you one tit slab after killing Maria 2.0)

I can safely affirm that the Crow Talons are dogshit.

Their running attack is dumpster and their WA can't bleed in a single full combo, even with rouge. This means you combo someone for about 2/3 of their bleed bar and ~700 damage, and then they roll away scott free and heal because you have 0 chasedown.

I've been having an okay time just facetrading into it with SS WA R2 + leo ring. I don't think the HA chains perfectly because I seemed to stagger them out of it a few times.
