How do you get motivated to play OSRS?
I got membership about a month ago and got another 14 days from a bond and 14 days from the ironmen rs3 promo.
Ever since they nerfed WT I never felt like playing. I wanted to get 99fm, currently at like 5mil exp and I don't feel like playing.
I don't want for OSRS to become my maingame and I don't want to grind for 6mil/month just to stay a member.
I can't even login without immediately wanting to close the client.
It's just not fun to me.
Feeling the need to grind for cash just to keep on playing the game which I don't enjoy that much in the first place. Not to mention it's pointless getting good at the game since even getting 80 in a skill (which there are so god damn many off) can take a 100+hours.

Gargoyles give around a mill an hour. Zulrah gives more than two mill an hour. If you have shit stats then you can afk cooking until 99. Takes about a week or two. You'll be netting around one half mill a day from sharks on that 90-99 grind, pays for the membership time. Cook dark crabs for four mill a day at 99. Afk 99 fletching. You'll get 17m from stringing magic longbows and it only takes a day or two to get to 85. Maple and yew longs give great cash along the way. You'll net yourself close to 60m off of agility going for 99 because of marks. Tanning leathers for magic experience gives 100k exp/hr and like four or five times that in profit. Runecrafting is runecrafting and nature/cosmic runes will always be profitable but might be too much grind for you.
If you actually want to play the game you can just kill shit. There isn't much in the game that won't net you at least 200k/hr from camping it even with mediocre stats.
If you have absolutely nothing then check the OP. The money making guide on the wiki is actually decent. I just listed what I've personally done.

after that I felt no motivation to do anything. I know this game can be a lot of fun and grinding/getting better stats can be very ncie as well, but how osrs does it, it's no fun.
For example, I've spent 320+ pure hours on l4d2 within the past 4 months. Playing it provides me no benefit, but I play it because it's fun to me. In those 320 hours I prob. could have gotten halfway to 99rc.

How do I do Zulrah efficiently?

I'm starting to get the patterns down and I've killed it 8 times now but I died simultaneously and missed loot on 2 of them.

Kills take me 3-4 minutes though. I get destroyed by random ranged attacks during the mage phases and have to bank every kill.

I feel like I'm missing some secret to success.

There are far more OP things than regenerate though. *cough* Soul Split *cough*. Most defensive abilities can prolong your trips if used properly.

I did kind of enjoy EoC, it definitely made combat more interesting. One of its main problems is that it makes pretty much all of pre-EoC content quite literal joke.

But with that said, I can do most of my slayer tasks in OSRS in a trip or two. Sure it's slower than in RS3 and you may need a bit more supplies, but it can still be done. Excluding boss tasks of course.
