I always loved immunities because that made specialized builds that much more powerful, especially since immunities are only on bosses that drop boss specific loot. So it actually makes sense to make character to specifically farm a certain boss.

Either Master Surgeon needs to be reworked (and probably pathfinder as a whole since that's pretty much all of Pathfinder's power) or utility flasks as a whole need to be reworked

That is half the problemmost uniques have.
They are so bad that you are better off using some random blue or rare, even when levelling.
The other half is that PoE lacks a way to upgrade the base item to the cruel or merciless base item.
This dooms even those uniques that could theoretically have a use, because the base stats are too terrible to ever use them for high level content.
And those uniques that you could use while levelling drop when you are at lvl 80, and no longer need them.


And the skills, well, most of them are so bad that nobody ever uses them outside of some 'look guize I made that shit skill almost work' memery.
But those people KNOW that they'd run through the game in one third of the time with a build centered aroud one of (relateively few) good skills.

But: Most bosses have adds that allow you to leech/generate charges/etc., and the boss' big hits can often be avoided.

Setting up a 4L to generate FREE endurance charges is not a bad idea.

Stuff like Doomfletch, Kaom's Way, Voidheart, Signal Fire, and Realm Ender just as a few examples are all great items that came out of really shitty uniques.
