smn is pretty nice in my opinion, it's quite easy to play and it allows for more movement than blm. i think that it only gets enjoyable at 60 though when you can use a big aoe laser beam on enemies. blm is also stronger at single target

Blm is aesthetically more pleasing, with those massive shards of ice and huge balls of fire, with great sound effects too.
Smn feels more free and able to actually get around, and you'll be able to learn to do ideal DPS before a blm.
They are still a little wonky, however, and it feels strange spamming the totally shitty ruin 2 when you have nothing better to do.

I personally love both, but it comes down to taste.

It's a glorious feeling when you're doing generic dungeons and the tank pulls the entire first part of the place at once, and you bane / painflare / deathflare everything.

BLM feels more destructive overall, giant balls of fire and stuff, but having to move is pure suffering. If you can turret, life is wonderful. If you have to constantly move, you'll want to die.

SMN can combat revive, so you can save crappy runs sometimes, and the orbital laser is immensely satisfying, even if you can only use it once a minute.

Giving WHM yet more healing power isn't going to solve anything.

WHM cleric needs a class specific trait, something like x% amount of damage returned as mp would help on mp management when dpsing since freecures are useless.

More skills that have double effect like assize to simulate revert. One thing i'd love but have no hope in it ever happening is cleric to be upgraded to revert by trait and adding effects to every single spell already ingame.

For short WHM doesn't really need a bunch of party utility like lots of people ask, what WHM needs is freedom to use their own toolkit like SCH does. WHM mp management sucks and with every single skill requiring cast you have to pick when to heal or when to dps with your heal or dps suffering depending on what you choose to focus on, well, at least not as much as it does right now.

This tier is the easiest in terms of difficulty in HW, if you have gil to spare you can get a bunch of i250 crafted gear to help you get caught up. The expert dungeons are also pretty good in my opinion.

Creator Normal still has the same loot system as the other two wings of Alexander though, with the gear you need to get at the last floor every week so you can get a welfare tombstone.
