DRKs are the preferred MTs, but kinda unfun to play, but powerhouses if you know what you're doing

NINs are very good due to Trick Attack and aggro control, but poor aoe.

MNKs are the selfish dicksqueezers that do great damage but aren't very useful otherwise

Every other tank buster on A12S can be Dark Minded

Reprisal is insanely usable mitigation and takes a tiny amount of skill to actually tiem for a mechanic because of Dark Dance

DRK's mitigation is equal for A9S/A10S/A11S, which are fights where he MT stays in DPS stance almost 24/7 anyways. If this was Midas, you'd have a point, but the only hard hitting fight currently, A12S, has magical busters

It's still super popular and played.

Not everything has to be min maxed to the extreme.You people would settle for 3 jobs only just to suit your min max autism.

The only jobs that were barely used or invited to groups was PUP, and BST because they were useless for group outside of BST/PUP only LS.

Even jobs like DNC were fine, but preferred to just be a side job.

XI's system is eons better than XIV and it had a lot more fun.

Maybe they'll do something similar to what I had in mind with Red Mage, the cast times are prepping your weapon (or fists if it were muscle wizard) with "charges" of a certain spell or element. So your next few weaponskills are enhanced sort of like how AST sects enhance their benefics.

THM(Black mage) is one of the most tedious classes to start out as since the rotation is braindead slow until level 60, although it gets better around level 45. MSQ is also a drag until you hit HW and you'll have a ton of it to do

You will have unending main story quest until 60 and beyond. Once you hit 50 you have 100+ more to do before you can even start the level 51 and up story quests.
