Currently looking for the "next big game target" and im about to be introduced to Makoto.

First Impressions:

Makoto seems to be being blackmailed by the Dean of the High school into doing whatever it is he asked her to do which seems to be find out the culprit who made/forced Kamoshida to confess what he had been doing to the students(its safe to say the dean also knew what kamoshida was doing too).

The Dean/Chairman has some info on Makotos sister who is in a Political position of sorts in japan and she was a former student of the school who was talented.
Although, judging from the facial expressions from the dean and makoto im guessing she wasnt a perfect as everyone thinks she was and Makoto wants to keep her sister reputation clean and doesn't want the dean to reveal to the public whatever it is he and makoto know about her sister.

Looks like she will be my next member to join the group.

Tae looks like the sort of girl that would just be gross to touch. Not even sweaty like how people kept pushing for Futaba, but just grimy and like garbage.

She would probably wash herself more frequently than Futaba, but she would also get more dirty. How dirty can you get sitting around playing video games all day unless you can't be bothered to go to the bathroom, or have some severe sweating problem?

Tae would probably think nothing of skipping a shower for a few days or just passing out at the office when she gets tired. She looks like someone who would like to party, so going out to a bar or club would just inundate her in the scent of liquor and cigarettes, not to mention any dancing activity. And of course, instead of properly wearing normal clothes under her jacket, it's just a short dress. Whatever grime is worked into her skin will just transfer to that once clean jacket, which probably hasn't been washed in a very long time.

Her skin would be sticky like a controller or mouse that's quite old, well-used, and never washed. If you tried to drag your nail across it, there would be much more resistance than what would be expected. Her hair is perfect for a lazy lifestyle, since even if it was severely tousled from sleeping on it, it wouldn't be noticeable.

Firstly, Shadows never attacked outside of the Dark Hour.
Secondly, we saw in The Answer that when Ken tried to report his mother's murder, the police explain that the murder was due to a car crash. Mitsuru then explains that the Kirijo Group covered up the whole thing. It's possible that Kirijo agents would immediately silence anyone who attempted to publicly present Personas and this would make sense since this would teach the public that it was the Kirijo Group that had created them.

It really isn't supposed to be a twist, though? The entire game up to the end of the casino is Sae interrogating Joker about everything that happened in order to work out the truth behind it all, including who sold him out.

The actual twists are Shidou masterminding everything as part of his plan to become prime minister, and Igor not being the real deal. Goro being the obvious traitor actually helps deflect suspicion from those two for a long while.

Looking back, it was pretty funny how our understanding of Goro's storyline changed so much with every new piece of information, yet at every stage along the way there were people who got super assblasted at whatever the current version of the truth was. I don't think it's right that the P3 cast can summon their Personas wherever they please. The Dark hour has been ended but if that's the case, where are Shadows coming from? According to Metis, Personas and Shadows are basically the same thing so if the Dark Hour has ended and the P3 cast still have access to their Personas then where do Shadows, which must still exist, come from now? What's the process through which new Shadows are created?

Is it possible that all of the Shadows that exist are all in the Shadow World, a world which is made accessible through Inaba TVs? So new shadows are created all the time, they just don't have a way of breaking out of their world anymore, something which the Dark Hour provided for them (which I think links in with why electronic devices stopped working during the Dark Hour, rather than just being a convenient plot device for why nobody can prove the existence of these things).

Would this mean that Shadows have always existed and were merely discovered?

The rose petals that she healed with her ability had a bit of her life energy stored in them. She reabsorbed that energy so it revived her however she seemed to have lost her memories and could not remember Junpei or Strega or anything.

Only thing i'd roast about p5 is that the soundtrack could have been better. Three or four great tunes and the rest are edits of those songs or comfy background music, but even the intense battle sets stay fairly mellow ad never reach the all-in flavor of 'time to make history' or 'battle for everyone's souls'. Couple of key boss fights would have really benefitted from having unique themes.

I really do think I'm going to send something in to Atlus and detail why the new typeface is so bad, but I'm going to have to look up precisely what the new one is.

The weird thing is, I think they're actually using a Japanese typeface still, just with the English characters. The proportions are just fucked enough that I can't believe that an English type designer made it. The tittles (dots over the i's and j's) are too big, and the descenders and ascenders (the tail of a lowercase g and the the part of an h that shoots up) don't go out far enough. It just screams that they were designed to play well with block-based Japanese characters.

It begs the question of why they'd do that if they had the ability to change things. The only reason I can think of is that they needed Japanese characters for some of the test questions but didn't like the way the original type looked in nothing but English.

It might be a fool's errand, and I still have some criticisms of the UI even in Japanese, but the English version is a clear downgrade.

The Persona timeline happens when some guy from the Raidou games avoids the Shin Megami Tensei 1 disaster, Shin Megami Tensei If... happening in its place. Then happens Persona 1 with the protagonist of SMT If... appearing in it, then Persona 2 IS followed by Persona 2 EP with multiple P1 characters in it and once again the SMTif... protag.
Persona 3 comes next being way more self-centered by still mentioning past characters, in fact, the Kirijo group used to be part of the Nanjo group owned by a P1 character and both P1/P2 characters appear in a tv show that tells us what they've been up to.
P4 is once again more self-centered, but still has the Tatsumi Port island field trip and only really started to cross over with P3 in the Arena games.
Then comes the Golden Epilogue followed by Dancing all Night and finally now Persona 5 that has mentioned Katsuya from Persona 2 and Chie, not to mention the Rise, Kanami and Yukari posters and Naoto's title.
The Devil Summoner games also happen in this timeline.

I wasn't expecting him to be in the opening, but I was surprised he didn't get a spot in the ending, and that he sort of dropped off after his death considering how much he manipulated before his huge setup. Ken, Shinji, and Koro weren't in vanilla P3's opening but they still had a place in the ending.
