It's not that it's shit, it's that it's a c1 archer circle. Archer circles tend to be just filler (or utility) skills at c1 and don't really stand on their own until c2.

Currently, the only build that can carry mergen until it has more to offer at c2 is Fletcher 3 because it's still powerful even at r8 and has low cooldowns.

Musketeer 2 is good, but it's inferior in dps to fletcher 3 alone even without mergen.

Basically go musket 2 and expect it to get better at c3, or fletcher 3 mergen 1 and expect mergen to get better at c2. You can also just go fencer/swordie instead.

For those who might be curious, Maven is dramatically superior to missions with an x8 tome running. I was sitting at 90-100m for most of that Maven party (we got the event to trigger on two channels) but missions are closer to 30m.

Paladin/inquisitor here. It's fun, but by no means meta. The damage capabilities go up, but I still play mine as a support class. Breaking wheel will nuke a room fast, but requires an item to use it. Malleus is a 1 point wonder especially with the attribute. Godsmash is okay, 3 overheat 30s cooldown, conviction confirmed to double the damage, but most of r8 mobs are leather. Pears act just like you think they do, theyre also strike physical damage so it can crit, be blocked, dodged, etc. Not sure what else you want to know.

You don't need to go support Cleric. If you want to play support, play Wizard. Cleric C2 is all the support any group should ever need. Druid C3 also has a massive uptime on literal invincibility and it can do damage. I fucking hate "pure support" Clerics in my party.

Yes. All the hat enchants are going to get buffed. I believe up to 3x the current state, however unsure of the exact values. The things that did NOT get buffed though are crit rate, movespeed and aoe ratio.

It's not that bad because hats are cheap and all the ones at the moment with the stats will get the corresponding buffs.

Twist of fate hasn't gotten the fix KTOS got, it's supposed to work on mission/dungeon bosses which means you can bring it to dps check instance bosses and instantly deal the last 1/3 of their hp. With pass you can actually do it twice and it still works, providing two instances of the regeneration effect but dealing more than half the bosses HP as damage, variable with the skills randomized danage range based on skill level. Haven't gotten to test if it works with Kabba C2's damage multiplier skill to allow you to instantly kill any non-field boss enemy yet though.

The main use of Oracle 3 is supposed to be GvG large group support I think though, Prophecy is over a minute of CC immunity, counterspell can cover your entire guild, and foretell is comparatively large and has good uptime compared to other immunity skills.

Here are a few card's base stats. I'd say get whatever has the highest def so the shoggoth doesn't get pulverized. It seems to be the same level as you, so if you're underlevel to a map it'll probably still take lots of damage instead of the 1s it usually takes.

Also note I have no idea what the stats of every card are, there are probably ones with higher def.

At least you haven't gone Sorc3, which I've said many times to be underwhelming compared to other choices.
Go Link2 Sage in my opinion (for what it's worth), JP + TS will actually let you solo R8 quests better compared to other matk builds assuming no endgame gear.
TS can still take hits as long as you support it, use Sleep, EB, EQ (at end of rotation since it'll break links) to disrupt mobs while it chews them down.

The build isn't really that good at R8, QC + MM is nowhere near enough damage to punch through mdef.
If I could make a better PvE Sorc build it would be WizCryoLinker3Sorc2Sage.
But it still performs ok in PvP as long as you avoid the usual cleric antimagic bullshit and stay away from Catas.

If you have quests left simply keep going and use cards. All cards from the 210 to 240 range will easily get you to 260+ and in range of Abbey. If you can solo most of them now since mobs hit harder in these zones. Ask help. Good luck.

That is a good question. I'd have Redel higher, then Zucken, Zornhau and one point into Sturtzhau. Have in mind that your skills will scale better with your own attack than with skill points if you put Deeds, Zwerchhau and Cleave on the equation

I just want to interject for a moment. You CAN use Capturing on Circling. Circling is actually just a "magic circle" effect planted there by the bird and it just flies around for its duration.

Sneak Hit WAS great, especially in parties, but now with R8 it's meaningless because it's invest in DEX or nothing and you'll probably see no difference.

Falconer is good, but it's good as a support class. It doesn't do much damage on its own, you go C3 for Circling and Aiming to help your Swordie buddies do massive damage. Unlike Linker though, it's only useful for massive amounts of monsters.

You are stupid for considering Rogue, though. Nothing before or after it has any synergy with it, except Sapper, which is the worst "damage" class in the game.

Scout C3 is okay, but it's insanely SP expensive, and is only good for specifically 3 targets.
