Am I a dick for making a (now SL130 since I needed more attunement because apparently tears requires 2 slots) Havel's GS + DS Swordspear build for pontiff invasions?

I mean, I'm really enjoying it. It's the perfect build for what I want to do (use a spear and do spear things with good damage, shieldpoke backstabbing which only the swordspear can do with significant enough damage, and otherwise be able to fight or at least get away when outnumbered).

No patch on PC yet? Still at 1.07 here.

The best buffable GS is probably Claymore or Drakeblood if you use certain resins, but the latter's range is shit. Longest Greatswords are MLGS and Wolf Knight, Onyx Blade in DLC will be longest though.

everyone gets 100 base poise hp. if you have poise hp when you take damage, your hyper armor is in effect.if your poise hp is drained to 0, your hyper armor will break

the poise stat in your menu screen is how much absorption you have for your poise

if you're wearing havel's + wolf ring 2 + yhorm's, you should have about 68 poise or so, which translates to having an effective 168 poise health pool

different movesets for different weapons have diffent poise modifiers ranging from 0.5 (half effective poise hp) to 2.0 (double effective poise hp)

once your poise breaks, it is automatically reset to full afterwards

you still take poise damage during rolling frames not unlike bleed auxillary meter, blocking does not incur this penalty

your poise resets to full automatically every 30 seconds
