The fact that Miyazaki hinted that there might be more maps for the arena has ne very worried that From will go in the direction of selling multiplayer map packs as dlcs and the audience has no problem with it.

Couple this with the fact that everything that was plot-wise interesting about the DLC was spoiled by faggots and Miyazaki himself spoiled everything there would be about the DLC in advance to rub it in that this would be all we're going to get. It could've been great. In fact, I think the content itself could've been ok but the fact that it's all been told to us that there is absolutely no element of discovery left just kills the whole thing.

I was already considering that this DLC would be among the worst From DLCs PvE-wise because they seem to be putting all their effort into PvP, so my expectations are not raised high.Having said that however, I wasn't particularly disappointed by anything from the reviews except the length, so it shouldn't be too bad.

I think the implication is that the stance R1 is basically a paired weapon L1 and thus free, and the stance R2 is the actual "WA" attack.

Remember how we had the discussion yesterday that a scythe can't be made into a paired weapon because it needs its entire moveset to function, and the loss of 2H in favour of paired L1s would cripple it? This is their solution, evidently. This means that you have normal 1H moveset, normal 2H moveset, and then the paired moveset tied to the WA stance.
