I think they made leveling a class to 10 take just long enough that once you get there you don't care about enjoying it and move on to something else.

I mostly play versus, but I wanna take a break and put more time in horde.

What are your builds for each class? Some skills seem obvious choiches, but some classes have a couple spots I don't really know how to fill, and I'd like to scrap the cards I don't need.

Soldier:

Is experience from horde related with your score? For example, as a scout, if I avoid enemies and try to stay alive and collect money, I wont get a lot of score. Id rather not miss out on the xp

I love spawning with the enforcer and the hammerburst and being able to dominate both long and very short range.

It takes 3 bursts to down you though, so 9 bullets out of like 21 and it isn't hard to hit people with. Actives are even more potent. Lancer has 50 rounds and it takes around 12 bullets to down someone and it has considerable more spread on its firing. The hammerburst is just ridiculous in how fast and easy it is to down people.

i've done about 10 fortification ii's at this point. host a private horde match and lock the other 4 slots. set it to casual/normal, whatever you're more comfortable playing, and set it to wave 8 so you don't have to wait to get your overkill and it'll net you more energy. you should have 50% deposits, and build all the barriers you can. you'll have about 20 during the boss wave 10, and then let the boss destroy whatever you've built so far. afterwards it's smooth sailing and you should finish up by wave 14

I know no one really plays versus or cares here, but does anyone else just never have a consistent game anymore? My shotgun is neigh useless compared to everyone else's. I want to say it's my connection, but I'm not entirely sure. I do notice people shooting where I was a second or two ago, and downing me in another spot, and I get a lot of people who can just tank shots no problem and the killcam says I did around 50 damage in two shots when I shot them way more. I hate this, because I really love the game, but I'm just slowly losing my will to play more and more, when I point blank someone two to three times and the blindfire my head off from a good distance. Also, I'm not entirely sure I like how mulitiplayer has become the entire team sticking together to grab a power weapon that respawns very quickly.

Horde is really good though.

Just like before, it's Gnasher Combat 2k16. Only the snipers and sometimes other guns are ever enough to stop some fuckass cover-bouncing towards you and braining you with his shotgun. I'm not sure if lancers will ever be anything than a tickling reminder for enemies to get behind cover.

Just made this pic to compare the enemy variety between each version of Horde. I love all the changes and improvements they made to 3.0 but it's really lacking in terms of enemy and wave variety. That copy/pasted wave structure is starting to get old and i think they really need to do something about it like bringing back Locust enemies, more wave challenges, more randomness, etc.

Bought 3 esports packs and didn't get a character skin so never doing that again (until I do)
