Get Gix since it's stronger than Austere and with HU sub; you'll have a bunch of stuff that you wouldn't need to rely on mates as much (heal guard, just reversal recover, mag recovery and katana combat). Hell, if you do need to use a mate; it doesn't take long to ramp back up to higher than austere damage.

Orbit isn't out so we don't know how it's going to be, I'm getting both but Orbit will kill the purpose of the extra PP regen skill when you've got a gear proc on Katana (unless you sheathe). However, that's good if you need to recharge PP without giving up gear proc since you would swap to orbit bow for that.

I don't think getting an S Rank even does anything for you if you've already gotten the title. The majority of my runs have been A ranks, and during those I've gotten 12* Ray units and a 13* Gix drop.

People have stated it before, but I tested it myself eventually. You get a portion of the boost regardless if you have taken damage or not, it's 6(?) percent at level 1 and will reset to 6 percent. I couldn't test if it stays at 6 percent for pot 2 considering it's NT and the base damage gets too high, but it would be hard to gauge with the damage variance anyway so I'll assume it's 6 throughout like others have stated.
