Post perfect curves

Like I said last thread we need more debuffs.
The only relevant debuffs are in paladin.
The only way control is played is by stacking removal and the occasionnal freeze mage (wich is really just stall complementing removal).
The only thing remotely approaching permission right now is freeze.
You could even make aggro debuffs like a reversed pw:glory.

Shaman was good before Naxx, deathrattle shaman was good postNaxx against Warrior and handlock, mech shaman was a solid tournament pick, it was buffed nonstop, TGT had shitton of good cards, with LoE aggro shaman rose to power, after LoE it was meta defining class. It was meh for about several months compared to years of priest and paladin and never as bad as the rock bottom tier they reached without any early game. You shaman tards never recognized good toys you've been given. Lava Shock and Fireguard Destroyer were as good as fair and balanced overload cards can go. Fireguard is literally 477v0.5, 4 mana fatty with overload, battlecry synergy and chance to be 7/7. You are the one forgetting history here.

Hey, i didn't say it were always bad, priest has obviously suffered much more.
And like most shaman loyalists, i've obviously always appreciated the class and its potential. Even when everyone was using bloodlust to explain the concept of "win-more card" to newfags.
Hell, i still run mech shaman sometimes in the low ranks of wild. Still works pretty well against the unsuspecting.
Just wanted to point out though that times haven't always been good.
Between BRM and TGT, thrall got pretty well-acquainted with the inside of the dumpster.
Today's cancer doesn't change yesterday's futility, and pretending otherwise just begs for more of brode's emotional balancing.
After all, you like paladin, right? I do too. Sadly right now it isn't allowed to be good (at least with a normal playstyle) because everyone still has PTSD from the secret pally cancer.
The same thing will probably happen to shaman after rotation. And it's a shame. Classes should be balanced on a clean slate, not by taking into account grudges built up over previous metas.

Everyone takes turns. Paladin got the first round of stupid broken buffs, now he's one of the bottom 3 classes. In his place, Shaman was the worst class and got bumped to pure cancer.

Depends on your expectations really. Shaman is cheap and an easy way to get you to Rank 10. New set shouldn't hit until mid-late november at the earliest, expected to be December. That's two whole seasons to either play the Shaman deck you'd craft now or that you'd have to wait before making some random new format deck.

If you have Tunnel Troggs already, you might as well.

1050 gold will get you 7 arena runs, which in worst case scenario with a record of 0-21 will net you 7 packs and 7 instances of 25-40 gold, 25-40 dust, or one common card at absolute worst (minimum yield being 7 packs and 35 dust, normal minimum being 7 packs and 175 gold)

To earn a similar prize in Heroic tavern brawl, you'd need 4 wins in a row before you get even 3 losses, against a much higher skill level of opponent who can afford to get in because most new players won't have 1000 gold after buying packs to build their collection.
