Depends what you want to achieve.
N9B9 is the scales build, but is more geared for the lategame with Ozelotls. I also don't think it's good.

W9X9 or F9X9 can actually kill stuff. W9F9 is the murderbless. It's good on jags and turns Ozelotl into murder incarnate with their flying and 3 attacks (6 attacks on their alpha strike).

W9N9 or W9D9 or W9B9 are pretty good blesses. They have good offensive aspects and some defensive aspect. Depends what you want them to do.

D minor is useful for extra buffer with an N9. D major is not a reliable damage dealer, but is useful for affliction spread, which is at least potentially useful against thug/sc heavy nations and giants.

In general I'd say the D bless is superior to A, S and E, but it's not a gamechanger in the way B9/N9/W9 are, but as always it depends.

It's not that you need S9 to get wish, it's that S9 gives you wish (plus rings, plus other cool astral shit) on top of your bless. Even though the bless is mediocre compared to other blesses, you get more use out of your pretender's spell path than other blesses do.

Also, depending on chassis that's not necessarily true. Monolith is the worst case example, but it needs S8 regardless of what items you have. Oracle needs S8 if you don't want to use rings, but can do it with rings at S6.

Okay everyone, it's time for another intelligence report! This time, it's on Berytos!

The reason I haven't been using pictures by the way is to avoid giving away information on other nations. It would take more editing than I really want to bother with.

His cap is at 139 and out of the 5 land provinces it connects to, only 2 are actually under his control. This is a good summary of his entire nation.
His provinces are spread about in pieces at this point due to being eaten as we speak, so he controls the Xibalba cap at 85, the C'tis cap (technically, it's under siege) at 128, the Throne of Summer at 135, and not much else of note. He has a fort at 126 that's under siege by fucking indies, no magic sites of note other than the throne that also has a few regular magic sites on it, and his empire is split in half with no connections between the two thanks to sieges.

That said, his army size in the graphs is notably still above average, his research is middling, same with his dominion and gem income, even his regular income, so i'm guessing he either has a lot of summoned stuff, a lot of chaff, or he actually has a major armed force building.

You should be thinking of it as an overall package, not "it takes this many points to get X".

Most efficient chassis for wish give you a very cheap S6, this is true. However, they also give you poor options for anything that isn't more scales or a S9 bless. You can't just shove a cheap S6 for wishes on a chassis with more convenient blesses.

For example, a fairly standard god for EA T'ien Ch'i is a W9S9 carp. You could drop astral to 6 and still have wish, but that weakens your bless and leaves you with points that you don't really need and can't spend elsewhere.

There isn't really an efficient way to get wish and a bless without that bless including S9

All magic paths are an overall package. The extra paths only pay for what you get with them though, not for what you've already paid for with lower levels. S9 is popular on EA Tien Chí not just because of what the lower levels bring, but because it's actually pretty good with Wrath of the Ancestors. I'm making a mod like Cataclysm but better. With upgrades and tech trees and shit.

The building is called outpost, and it shoots arrows at shit, and it has some patrol bonus (basically, it's an immobile unit), and nice protection, but it can only be build in areas without forts. When a fort is built, it gives back half of its gold cost.

The mod is called Master of Magic, so basically you start with pumped up versions of humanoid chassis like archmage/freak lord/great sage (they have more hp, natural protection and resists, better shapeshifting forms if applicable, and innate spellcaster 2), and only human units and mages. Then you can build sites in different provinces which give you better units/mages. Later when you research stuff you can cast rituals that give you fantastic units/mages/sacreds to recruit.

Buildings are handled through #req_unit and #req_order, so you build a builder unit, move it into the province, and then command him to patrol/search etc. It makes him build a special site that gives you those bonuses. Some buildings require other buildings, and that was a pain in the ass to script, so don't even ask about the exact method. It involved something like 3 different types of event requirements.

Well, it's playable, but it lacks most features I want to implement. Basically, you can only throw early-game troops at each other at this point, and upgrade armory/stables/wizard's tower, not that different from Cataclysm. I'm still thinking about how I'm going to implement stronger mages. Either through #xpshape or rituals/recruitment. And I want to change all poptypes/thrones to mitigate randomness concerning sacreds. I want sacreds to be a deliberate decision rather than a lucky expansion. I'm planning to finish the version with most planned features around spring maybe. Illfraud coding is hard to plan for sometimes.
