If I have a9lh but still use an emuNAND on all my 3DSs, what exactly do I have to do to move my emuNAND data to sysNAND safely and then remove the emuNAND (or replace it with a 9.2 firmware or something)

I put menuhax on my 3ds a long time ago and have been happily using it with ctrhttp to block updates and access online and stuff.

However turns out I need to update my eshop app in order to download the SM demo. I found the guide I need to do that (linked it at end of post), but I figure since I'm updating some things I may as well update menuhax itself along with other apps that are here with it.

Is there anything specific you have to do to update these apps or menuhax itself? I presume the individual apps can just be updated by putting the newer ones on your SD card, but for menuhax itself do I just grab the newest menuhax manager or what? What about the "version" number displayed on the homebrew launcher splash itself, does that mean anything?

Hey guys. I have a possibly dumb question.

My O3DS is finally dying it seems. The buttons aren't reacting sometimes and it's all happening just before Sun and Moon come out.

My O3DS is hacked but I'm worried about buying a new system. If I decide to get an O3DS or a 3DSXL, I'm unsure which firmware a new system would come with.

Last time I checked 3DSXL hacking was a bit more risky than O3DS. Should I just put down the few extra bucks to buy a big 3DS to hack or just buy the system I'm comfortable with that I know I can hack with ease?

You can continue to use Gateway when it is over by setting up a chainload payload.

Annoying guy from yesterday, just bought a new 3ds XL, have a hacked old 3ds. I installed linux and got smashhax to transmit packets, but it only crashes and goes back to the home screen, and that alone takes a minimum of ~2800 packets(2 and a half minutes). Is that normal and I have to keep trying until it boots? Also is there a way to make sure I'm using the right option for my smash version? I bought it on release day and haven't touched it since the Wii U version came out.

If I want to system transfer the o3ds xl to the 2ds, how would I properly handle that?

Would I hack / install a9lh on the 2ds, install luma, update luma, then do a normal system transfer from the o3ds xl to the 2ds, and I presume merge the contents of the SD cards on a pc?

If correct, that would retain the hacks from the 2ds, and have the nnid and content from the o3ds xl?

Alright, I finished a system transfer downgrade. I'm using cubic ninja to access homebrew, so I need to know the firmware the 3ds is on. The problem is, the guide doesn't tell you the last number of the firmware you downgraded it to only 10.4.0, and system settings tells you it's on 11.whatever even though it's really not, like the guide says.
