Ok, no luck the last few times I tried but I will ask again...In the Gears store, where you would buy an elite pack or something, the option to buy the packs for money does not exist for me, and the packs exclusively bought with money such as the esports pack, do not show up at all. Anyone else have this issue or an idea as to why its happening? I'm on PC, in Japan.

Elite is the best for high scrap items, but don't hold your breath. I've gotten 5, and not a single fucking gold card. Horde packs are honestly the quickest way to get what you want, because they are cheap. The drop rate for legendary cards is frustratingly low, I know, but it is literally the only way to get them, considering for some dumb fucking reason, you can't unlock them with scrap until you've already got your first one.

Why is multiplayer so shit?

the good thing is you get more points for having someone steal your kill then you do for stealing someone's kill, so it kinda evens out. k/d isn't nearly as important in Gears as it is in other games for this reason alone.

I just can't play fucking versus anymore. I'm so sick of some shitter taking three bodies just to one shot me and my kill screen telling me I did 40 damage or some shit. I've had so many times where I just get right behind someone and point blank them over and over just for them to shoot to my right or left and headshot me. When this game first launched I was going on average plus 20 in games, and now I'm just a fuck toy for shitters. Is there any way I can tell if it's a connection issue on my part? Because it wasn't like this at launch at all.

Also, is anyone doing Horde? I'm too ass ravaged to Versus anymore.

I'm happy that it's an easy landslide victory but I fucking hate when there's only one or two guys left and they just hide somewhere and wait for you and then pop out and kill you when you least expect it.

I went back to Gears 3.

Gears of War 4 multiplayer might be good, at some arbitrary point in the future, after people campaign tirelessly for them to fix a multitude of things.

I tried to play ranked but it's plagued with quitters.

Post-match scoreboard are rendered useless because one a player leaves the match they disappear from the scoreboard.

You have to restart matchmaking every time. It's slow as shit.

Core weapon tuning is more powerful than competitive for no reason and is OP.

Gnasher bullets don't come out of the gun sometimes (even though the opponent can even see you shoot your gun).

Game still hitches mid-match, sometimes causing me to get killed.

Maps are uninspired as fuck, two of them look almost identical.

Horde mode gets boring after like 15 rounds.

Amateur audio design is vastly inferior to Gears 3 surround.

They're complete kikes with the loot chests and have no shame about it.

They've acknowledged maybe 1-2 of the issues in this list.

Good downing power but the killing power is lackluster, I find when engaging two people it can be stressful to use the enforcer.

If you down one, you're gonna be reloading. Then the other is shooting at you and if it gets you one shot and you back off, he'll pick his buddy up. Or if you reload to take the kill, the second guy has a good chance of taking you out.

Im just not sure in what situations its effective. Maybe tagging up with someone running lancer/hammerburst?

What are the best skill cards for each class? Specifically Soldier, as I want to start leveling mine. But I'm also interested in learning to maximise the benefits of other classes. Someone said in a previous thread the best for Scout is health, shotgun damage, then fab deposit bonus, in that order. For Engineer, I use repair efficiency, and turret cost at the moment

343i has had broken releases, lack of content at launch, Micro-tranactions, lack of community support, poor QA testing, lying, and many more things. I dont recall Bungie doing any of these. I mean just a few months ago Bungie released a patch to fix Halo PC servers, yet 343i took down the Halo 2 Vista servers and has shown no interest in fixing MCC or Warzone Firefight.

It doesn't matter if it was intentional, they never fixed their mistakes and fucked over customers without warning. Yeah you can keep trying to excuse their mistakes all you want but from the outside you get a pretty strong signal that 343i doesn't give a shit about us. Thats really all that matters. Boss fights were underwhelming. What are your favourite boss waves?

All I had was a Swarmak which died quickly, a kestrel wave (which was ok but we were on harbour so just hid indoors) and a few snatcher waves which again, were negated by hiding in doors.
