The fall preview was great because it wasn't just "every map with slayer or ctf" like it has been and is now. They selectively chose shit. Like Tyrant only had Assault, Plaza only had slayer and strongholds, etc. So the problem wasn't so much slayer as it was the maps picked for slayer, and almost every map in the game is garbage for regular slayer.

I'd be fine with it if the changes weren't always objectively inferior to the previous version, and if they let you keep the old map.
Like, in 3, changes were made to maps but the map you had available in forge mode was still the original map. Guardian in forge always had the flare on it, and if you wanted the new version, just play a round in matchmaking.
Here, they modify your game files so the old version is gone forever unless you saved it, and the new changes like a plasma caster on riptide are always fucking retarded.

From what Ive heard they are doing this to show that old halo is still part of the new. And that the overdesign of Halo4/5 is not trying to delete old halo.

If this works out youll have your good armors. Ability to pick Halo3 weapons and vehicles (for example) .

Now most likely it wont be every single thing but a few.

Reach's has that wierd grain filter.

Kai has said in one of the past threads that /hg/ that he will cleanse the company after the xbox holiday update comes out which will include clubs. So when people get removed from the company because of inactivity, they'll still have the opportunity to join the club.
