Rachel slaps the glasses on Ragna pretty much immediately at the start of the route. No real reason, she just does it without warning.

Es is affected. She says "Ragna the Bloodedge. Let's die together." and blows away Ignis, Nirvana and Minerva. Then she's blown away by Nu, Mu and Lambda. Then they get blown away by Tao.

Then they have a cooking match. Tao makes her food but then trips and falls and the food lands on Ragna's face, burning him. Then Bullet tries to cook some monsters but gets eaten instead. Then Nine, Kokonoe and Trinity all make their own terrible food and try to get each other to try it. And then Ragna volunteers to eat it all without them having to try it because he knows that no one should eat that, so he tries to take the fall for them. But then they get into a fight over whose food Ragna should each first so they start fighting with their spoons and the fight causes them to leave the building. Then Litchi, Tsubaki and Makoto fall because their food was poisoned by Noel's food. But as it turns out, it was actually Izanami's food, as Noel and Izanami have identical cooking ability. And then Mai devours all the food they made because she's a pig. Everyone wonders if Mai wasn't affected by the glasses, but Rachel clarifies that since Mai doesn't understand love yet, her love can be overpowered by her hunger.

Then Celica says that a showdown was never necessary to begin with, since there's someone who was completely unaffected by the glasses, meaning they act normally whether the glasses are there or not. Rachel assumes she's talking about herself, but Celica clarifies that the one who's had the greatest and longest exposure to Ragna while wearing the glasses is Rachel. And then Noel and Izanami's food get exposed to each other and explode.

So once again, Celica and Rachel were unaffected. Noel seemed to be less affected than usual, though. There was honestly no difference with Nu.

Shes fairly easy to combo with, but controlling her Slash and Hard Slash placements on the swords and the different inputs can be difficult in a game like GG where your bullshit has to be completely on point at all times. Story mode is pretty cool. It's no longer Ragna just asking for directions and being led around blindly anymore like in previous games. No one else knows how to solve anything, so he's forced to learn and figure things out for himself. He has to decide on his own where to go, what to do and what to prioritize. Rachel and Kagura can't help him here. If anything, he's the one who understands what's going on better than anyone else, so there's no one fit to give him advice.

Alright, so I've learned a little of Nine and Izanami. Which one should I main? I feel like Izanami is stronger overall, but Nine is easier to figure out.

Fun fact I just noticed while watching a combo video; when Susano'o unlocks a special, it sounds like he says which one he got out loud. So if he hits the first it's "Ishiki" and if it's the seventh it's "Nanashiki." I was worried that I'd be spending too much time staring at his super bar while playing him, but it seems like you can do just as well if you listen carefully.

Unless I'm mistaken, it should therefore be ishiki, nishiki, sanshiki, yoshiki, goshiki, rokushiki, nanashiki, hachishiki for specials 1-8 respectively?

The contest Jin and Saya hold to decide who gets the island was The Cutest Ragna. In order of appearance:

Kagura screams they have to run, but luckily Saya thought something like this might happen so she prepared a plane.

Saya and Kagura get ready to leave, but Jin decides to stay because he can't bear the thought of a resort on Brotherly Paradise. He'd rather die now, while he and Ragna are still the only people on the island. Saya snickers, but at the same time decides to renounce her claim on the island as repayment for the fun she had. She'll watch Jin's final moments too. Jin proceeds to basically orgasm to death, because to him the fires are Ragna's warmth. Kagura is freaked, but Saya tells him it's fine: look how much Jin is smiling.

Jin's final words are that Ragna will be his... forever.

The most gratifying part of playing and difficult part of playing against hazama is getting a feel for the chain in meta game. well timed 5a/6a tends to work with most people but if you are really on the momentum j5d-b jd6-d shenanigans to jank their AA timing tend to let you blow up people trying to AA your chain ins and from there it becomes your game again

After all the wait, the gag reels were kinda bland. Brotherly Paradise was 10/10, but the Great Boob Showdown and the Spectacles of Eros suffered a ton from having too many characters. Naoto's Dating Sim adventures were okay, but picked possibly the most boring characters imaginable (Litchi, Rachel, Celica).

The Spectacles of Eros were particularly disappointing this time because it was pretty much just being carried by Arakune's funny voice. Unlike in CPEX where Ragna actually attempts to interact with the crazy girls, this time he just sorta sits in the audience and snarks. The entire scenario just isn't nearly as funny without him to straight man. Kagura didn't even get super jealous, which is what I would've expected from the situation.

To clarify, Nine didn't understand why the Master Unit kept rewinding time, nor did she want to understand.

She simply resented the fact that they were forced to fight the same war over and over, that people had to die over and over, that the Archenemies were created over and over, that Celica had to suffer and die over and over. She was driven mad by the fact that the world that "God" created was nothing but an ever-repeating tragedy.

The CPEX gag reels were fucking inspired. All sorts of varied scenarios, and a pretty strong cast of characters in each one. The CF ones in contrast feel like the writers just felt obligated to fit in as many characters as they could since this was the end.
