There's 2 ways I've tried it, both with varying success.

Support focused with Windspeaker's and Maxing E, build Eye of the Watchers, Banner, etc.

Aggressive supp, with Thunderlord's, Max Q first, sightstone then full AP.

Both build's I've only ever won if the enemy team is full of retards and my team gets fed early, only about a 38% winrate with him as support in both normals+ranked. Better than Jungle tho definitely. If you play Ivern jungle then your team has 2 supps and it's basically a 4v5.

Karma was slowly being buffed every single patch for no reason at all, that's why she's picked so much.
