Cho, Mundo, Sion, and certain supports that doesn't want to ever leave lane. They're overlooked (in fact, you'll replace them with AD if your farming is bad), but they are very effective on laning phase since you'll rarely 'lose' a trade with those babies.

Iceborn is her most used item since she stacks armor and makes the most of it (she still rushes Sunfire though). Trinity isn't bad if you're stomping though, and you can build Cleaver if, say, the enemy team is mostly AP.

That is the funniest god damn thing I've read. A d4 player is twice as good as a p1 player. A d2 player is twice as good as a d4 player.

The skill curve doesn't double that quickly at the lower end of the spectrum so a s5 and a g1 are closer in skill than a d4 and a p1.

Some of the biggest differences in skill levels? Cs. Deaths (because deaths interfere with cs). And knowing how to close out games.

If you want to climb exponentially learn how to cs.

There are many people who shift between high plat and low diamond the entire season lmao. It's retarded to think that csing is the hardest part of the game and what separates a good player from a great player. There are pros who still haven't mastered macro concepts, but you'd be hard pressed to find one that doesn't cs automatically.
