I usually end up going through NG++ on every new character whether I want the rings or not.

Eventually you just get antsy and want to keep pve-ing with a completed build, and the only content left to do is the whole game over again. Fortunately DaS3 is as short as Bloodborne so it only takes me about 3 hours total to blow through each NG+ cycle.

I've long since switched to CEing in the + rings for new characters, but I still end up doing NG++ at some point anyways.

Just bear in mind that minmaxing becomes more important the lower you go, since you have fewer points that you can afford to waste and you're always facing a host with a significant stat-advantage. I'm actually not bothered because I assume they'll be getting the same hands-on that press already got last month, which is only a limited section of DLC with pre-built characters and no access to firelink. They aren't able to go beyond the gravetender boss or explore the full area.

I'm using and old xbox360 controller and I can't get kick to work consistently with it. My timing is so wrong.
I've written an AHK script that does kick on A+RB for me, so I can just hold A and press RB once for maximum kicking no matter what direction I'm facing, i just have to leave my left stick alone. I also did Left Stick press for that but I'm not sure if that's easier to press.

Do you guys have any good ideas how I could bind my controller for easier kicking than A+RB? Some easy button inputs. I'll try to get the guide button working for it, maybe that's better.

So I've run into kind of a problem.
When increasing or decreasing the player's size, the cloth physics on armor start acting up. My initial solution to the problem was just going to be "Don't wear armor with cloth physics".

Turns out the only chest pieces without cloth physics are:
>Dancer's Armor
>Embraced Armor of Favor
>Lorian's Armor

So that doesn't really seem like a practical option. I have found a few things in the past where messing with them has accidentally removed parts of armor with cloth physics, so I might end up having to do that before the size mod is really viable for public use.

Naw. Even in a cherrypicked montage like this, you can see that ravioli steps are worthless. He never once actually manages to avoid an attack with a ravioli step or land an attack after one. He would;ve had just as easy of a time running to his opponent's back to BS them, the reason most of those backstabs were even working was because there was enough latency for him to run through an attack, trigger the backstab and enter BS iframes before the damage registered against him.

Using backsteps for rollcatching is more important than getting backstabs off of them. I don't think there are any instances where you could get a backstab with ravioli without having been able to get it with sprinting, but backstep attacks let you pivot in any direction as opposed to running attacks where you need to turn in an arc to avoid sliding your feet.

It triggers bleed for some bosses either outright, like crystal sages, or in two casts like NK and does dark damage on top of it.
Even on NG+5 it can kite most of the stronger enemies to death extremely quickly and safely as it does a good deal of stagger as well.
It costs only 20 FP so it's extremely cheap to spam.
