Yes, Morale Boost on Skye is a common pick since it gets you more time bombs. However, her ult is getting nerfed next patch, so you should consider other options. Nimble is good on her because it speeds up her already-admirable ground mobility.
Deft Hands (improved reload speed) is crazy on her because it's almost like she never stops firing.
Veteran is good because going into stealth immediately drops you out of combat, which means your out-of-combat health regen kicks in sooner. Amplifying that healing helps Skye get back in the fight sooner.

I took him out for a spin, here's a breakdown of his kit.

Primary has around 815dps which is around the level of Ying and Grouk but has way shorter range and much harder to aim. The Reload attack's a gimmick in the sense that you'll reload more than the duration of his stun but at least you can make a get away or interupt an ult.

Rightlick heals 240HPS. That's strictly inferior to even 1 Ying Clone and shouldn't be relied on for sustained healing. The buff card's pretty decent

Q throws a 1k HoT and a 500 DoT. Not as good as a burst but can make a difference when pushing on a point.

Slither is like ghost walk but only goes forward, nothing much to say about it.

Ult seems to have a smaller AoE than shown and he really needs a vantage point to take advantage of the full AoE or else a direct hit on a player or playload to be useful.

Overall, seems to be a jack of all trades Support that's weaker than specialized ones in flanking or healing.

You need healing station, repair and forged alloy cards. Also place turrets at such angles where they can shoot people on the point but can't be shot down from far way. This + increased survivability of turrets does enough distraction at point while providing you with some sustain. But barik us not the main tank, you need makoa or fernando on team as well to make him work.

Really strictly speaking, he's an inferior healer vs Ying as a sustained healer or Pip/Grover for Burst. He's kit is pretty terrible but you can technically become a weird sort of medic if you spec into mending spirits.

Get Possession 4, Ritual Magic 4, Swift Spirits 2, Limial Passage and Slither. You become this weird unkillable medic with Perma 16% reduction, 60 hps Regen and a ghost walk.

Smite's Xing Tian's Mountain wasn't a bad PvE mode. Each round would be a set of enemies with some sort of condition or mechanic applied. Like one was the team fights a Giant Arachne and the arena was covered in webs that would spawn tons of little spiders when she pulled someone through. Another mode was the team would fight a giant geb who would break into smaller and smaller gebs everytime he got killed.

For paladins, a similar mode with stuff like "The team fights a trio of fernandos who always have their shields up and do nothing but dash with no cooldowns" or "The team fights a giant bomb king, who throws regular sized bomb kings instead of stickies"
