You'll probably think I'm weird, but I actually had so much fun leveling a hunter that I did it three times up to 101, once with each spec. My newest hunter (fem gnome) was the Survival one and my main in Legion now, even if there wasn't invasions I think I still would have had a good time leveling rough dungeons and stuff.

Then again I have 20 characters 101+ and another 15 characters between 60-85 so I might just be a weirdo. Point is, I find leveling Hunters fun

Dude just quest up until like 72 or 73, then just start soloing BC heroics. They give a shitload of exp, that should boost ya up a bit.

Then do each WotlK dungeon once, for the quest exp. Try to random your first couple while you're at level 73-75 or so. WotlK heroics are a little less worth it, what I usually do is que for those and then fly around doing archaeology once I hit 80 (because 310 flying, and archaeology gives a surprising amount of exp from 80-90)

I don't even bother going to Pandaria usually (other than binding my hearthstone in the vale as soon as possible) and instead I just fly around doing archaeology and queuing for each dungeon once. Make sure to do some dungeons like Zul'Aman (for a quick free 24 slot bag) and Zul'Gurub for some nice quests and gold. You can que for ZA and ZG at 87, at which point you can basically solo the dungeon anyhow so that's fun

Then when you get to Draenor if you can fly literally just do all the rares/treasures. It's almost relaxing to get rom 90-100, it's like the game is paying you thousands of gold and practically giving you those ten levels

Trying to force my new warrior through a normal mythic.
It took forever for me to realise why felt so at risk.
But apparently the discipline healer did 10K DPS and just healed spamming Shadow Mend and PW:S
I'm just baffled at people getting to 110, gearing up and not even learning the basics of their class.

So i was gone for a few days, and just came back, and WTF HAPPENED TO SPEAR OF RETHU, i was using it as part of an mog on my hunter on Wyrmrest, since it would let me wield both it and a 1 handed sword and i log in today to find out they changed it, for what reason, it being a 1 handed spear was the only thing that even made it feel worth wasting my time doing the shitty archeology quest.

I do my daily cache on 3 characters every day since launch, I grind mythic+ all day, do at least a level 8 for the weekly chest, I even do the normal mythics and daily heroic just for extra chances. Get double gold on all my characters world boss runs. I full clear EN normal, LFR, and most of heroic every week. AND I STILL. DONT. HAVE A FUCKING LEGENDARY. WHILE SOME DICKHEAD CASUALS IN MY GUILD HAVE FUCKING FOUR THAT IVE SEEN DROP INFRONT OF MY GOD DAMN FACE.
