Gameplay is fantastic, TC did a great job making Gears of War, Gears of War. PC version is as smooth as a PC port can fucking get and in all honesty it deserve maximum praise.

Man, I'm so fucking stoked. I had legitimately forgot about this game releasing until maybe two weeks ago when I started window shopping for graphics cards. This game is was my lifeblood in high school.

Watching Wallbouncing tutorial videos, it's kind of amazing how they even kept this blatant exploit in the game for 5 iterations of the series before toning it down in Gears 4 and even then, It still shouldn't be a thing even at a minimal level.

Only way wallbouncing wouldn't be a thing is if they made it so you can only get onto cover you're like, 1 inch away from.

We know we would do bad if played versus against real people but we kinda wanna play it at some point.

When I started playing it, I was like what's everyone talking about? It was actually pretty fun. Now that I'm on Act V chapter 2 and have had to kill tons of pouncers and snatchers, I can feel how repetitive and spongey everything is. It's also just waiting for people to pop out of cover.

I am retarded for testing this but let me explain.

I was curious about horde pay outs. Turns out you get payed during each ten rounds. I went into horde with 700 points. I got a bonus 500 from leveling up but lets ignore that and just add it to the 700. Making 1200. Remember that.

For the first ten waves I got 57 points. For the second ten waves I got 93. Now at first I thought that I only made a 36 point profit going from 57 to 93 but no it doesn't work like that.

I left so I wouldn't receive any more point to throw my equation off so I received no points from the 21-30 waves.

Because after everything was said and done I ended up with 1350.

1200+57+93=1350

So everything is as it should be and horde pays more than I thought.

Its 9:30 am and I have been up since 8 am yesterday playing horde. I fucking love embar.
